I was very disappointed with how much fat I trimmed off. Butchers could do a lot better job at cleaning before packing so that we can get our money worth as these are very expensive. I really hope manufacture do better. But I do like that I can get 2 meals out of this versus getting just 1 from a restaurant for the same price. (picture showing fat from just one half of entire package). It could have equalled another oxtail or two in weight.

This package was vacuumed sealed , These oxtails were forty percent fat.

The oxtails are a good quality and the price is good

Lot of meat on the bones!

Overall I like the product. My one and only complaint is how much fat that was on them. With paying per pound Sam's should be trimming off all the fatty parts. Some of the bones had more fat then meat. Technically you're paying for the fatty parts on some.
