It ahs too much fat on it.

Just picked up my beef oxtail Aug. 9, 2022. I got 19 pounds for $6.48 a pound. The Oxtail comes in a vacuumed seal pouch, 4 per box. Oxtail is cut very thick, approx. 1 1/2 inch thick. Very good quality meat. I Marinated my Oxtail overnight with Sazon, Sofrito, salt and Pepper. The next morning I braised my oxtail in a skillet approx. 4 minutes on each side then I added more sofrito and Sazon along with water and put glass top on my skillet to steam the Oxtail. When Oxtail comes to a boil, I reduced heat and put top on to Steam the Oxtail for 4 to 5 hours. I stirred every 15 to 20 minutes. After Steaming all those house in the Sazon and Goya Sofrito the meat literally almost came off the bone. I made Yuca and Rice and beans. I put Goya Coconut milk instead of Water to make my Rice and Beans along with salt and vegetable oil. I will always purchase my Oxtail from Sam's Club.

Bought these ox tails twice. We added them along with beef tendon and beef short ribs to make the Vietnamese noodle soup aka Pho. The each box comes with eight to nine vacuum sealed packs totaling approximately 17.5 pounds. They are tender and delicious. Will buy again since Sam's Club has the best price on them.

I came home thinking that's I was just gonna wash and prepare the amount of fat I cut off them oxtail I think the fat weights about 1 pound for oxtail to be this expensive I shouldn't ave to come home and be cutting off so much fat I took a pic of all the fat I'm gonna call the company not happy @ all.

These oxtails were a disgrace! They were huge, all fat, absolutely no meat for the expensive price I paid! Such a turn off seeing all that fat! Messed up my entire meal and appetite paying for just fat! Super disappointed! I will never buy oxtail from Sam's Club! If I could give no stars, I would! Who ever they have hired at the butcher shop should be fired!!! Wow! I regret wasting my time, gas %26 money going to Sam's Club buying these! I was better off going to the butcher!!!

Nothing but fat. Should not be sold to the customer.
