Did not last long

I'm now in the market for new tires. I had these tires on my Ford Fusion -- purchased 6/9/15. I put no more than 24 K on these tires during that time but was told two months ago that I needed to consider new tires and today failed the state inspection because my tires are past due to be replaced. I came here to look for the warranty on mileage because I spent way too much for these tires that lasted the shortest amount of time of any tires I have ever purchased in 30 years of driving. Very disappointing.

An amazing tire

Put them on the daily driver (Ford Fusion) because I wanted a good value with a high level of overall traction. These tires are amazing! The wet traction is outstanding, I've never had any other tire match their level of traction in the wet. They also respond instantly and firmly to steering inputs with huge amounts of grip. A confidence inspiring tire, it feels like the car is on rails when turning. They're also extremely quiet, almost inaudible in my case. They've also got a tremendous amount of stopping power. Glad I went with them. A worthwhile investment if you love your car.

Worst Michelin Tires in 32 Years!!

Since 1983, I've exclusively purchased Michelin tires which, until now, never disappointed me. Although the Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires handle well, they've significantly reduced my Honda Civic's gas mileage by 10-12%. The drop in mileage began immediately after these tires were installed. I keep my vehicle in top mechanical shape and ensure that all maintenance schedules are followed, so there is no doubt that the drop in mileage is due to these new tires. My original tire choice was the Primacy MXM4 205/55R16 tires. Unfortunately, Michelin had no inventory available for many months. Just my luck, because the Primacy MXM4's are now available!

Better than I expexted

I had the A/S 3 tires installed on my wife's 2014 C7 Z51 Corvette when it was delivered in December of 2014. Living in Buffalo, NY I wanted to be able to use the car in late fall and early spring [cold weather, light snow]. We have made two trips to Florida and the tires have performed much better than I expected. They provide a soft, quiet ride. Traction and cornering is very good. Wear is much better than I expected to get on a Corvette. We currently have over 31,000 miles on them and still have over 4/32nd tread depth remaining. I will be replacing these with the new Pilot Sport A/S 3+ before our next trip to Florida.

Very quiet and smooth ride

I replaced the factory installed tires with these Michelin tires and have been very pleased. I have a Mercedes E350 and handling and a quiet ride were qualities I wanted in a new tire. These tires exceeding my expectations. A smooth, quiet and great handling ride are all achieved. My wife's car is a Mercedes C300 Sport. When her tires were in need of replacing we went into a local tire store and was told by the salesman that another popular tire was the best tire for performance. We bought the tire and I can't tell you how disappointed we are with the tires. The handling is very good but the trade off in road noise isn't acceptable. I will buy the Michelin tires as soon as I can justify the replacement. The Michelin's cost is justified with the engineering that has gone into this product. These tires provide the driver the safety, performance, and a smooth/quiet ride that Michelin's reputation and marketing is built on. There is truth in Michelin's advertising that I would speak for.

Not as good as summer tires

When I switched from my OEM Michelin RTF to A/S tires, i was expecting smoother, quiter ride. However, overall quality of ride was not as good as the original tires. It was very noisy as well. Had trouble getting replacements within 30 days because of staggered wheel sizes on my BMW sports package and summer tires were out of production. I do not recommend these tires if you have a BMW 3 series with sports package. Heard good review about pilot sport summer tires.

Would recommend this tire

I'm on the road constantly Highway and city driving as well winter driving and been very happy with these tires. Sudden stops and turning at the same time the tire proved it could handle the task. Not too much negative to say except like any tire you'd wish they last forever. Thanks Michelin

Excellent Tires

I've been using different brand of Tires on my 2011 Shelby GT500 and those were my third set. Those Tires were making annoying humming noise, and the ride was really rough even Ford mechanic thought there was a bearing issue with the car, but once I consulted another mechanic, he said the Tires were the issue. So I decided to go for Michelin's A/S Tires (19" for front - 20"s for the back) and I immediately noticed that the noise was completely gone and the ride is definitely improved. What I like also about those Michelin Tires is the 45,000 miles warranty comparing to the other brand of 20,000 miles warranty. Really, they are amazing Tires and I recommend them to anyone driving a Muscle car. GREAT Tires... Thank you

Grip Very Well

The first 100km I agree that the tires felt slippery... I think it has to do with the compound they put on them from the factory. I was questioning whether or not I made the right choice. After a break in period, I cannot break loose my 2009 Acura TL SH-AWD on a tight corner. I lose tailgaters on the tight corners and it is a lot of fun doing i!

Like butta

Remember when Mike Meyers would parody his mother-in-law on SNL? She was a radio personality named Linda Richman and her show was "Coffee Talk". Anyways, when something was smooth beyond belief, Linda (Meyers) would describe it as, "like butta....." (ie. like butter). Well, sorry for the lengthy build-up to my comment, but that describles these tires perfectly. They are indeed, "like butta!" I won't bore you with a lot of techno-speak, I'll just say treat yourself to a set of the finest tires that you are ever likely to own! They are worth every penny of the cost and you will think that you are driving the brand-new car of your dreams!
