These tires are a little expensive but they are very quiet, extremely sticky and very smooth. Used to have a vibration but not with these tires. Went completely away. Definitely very happy and can't wait to see how many miles they last. Only put about a 1,000 miles on them so far. Very impressed.

Had the dealer put these tires on my 2012 Buick Regal GS after the stock summer performance tires had worn down. Pros: Great grip, good handling, and very nice on wet roads. Cons: SO NOISEY! I've got less than 4,000 miles on them and am going have the dealer take them back. I don't know if I got a bad batch, but I literally cannot stand to be inside my car @35 mph, @ 50 mph or @70 mph. I was hoping after the first couple hundred miles the noise would go away or at least subside, but alas, it has not. My wife refuses to ride in the car on long road trips because the growl/howl of these tires is annoying. I turn my radio up so loud in an attempt to drown out the noise. I am on the fence on whether or not I will get these replaced with another set of A/S 3's (assuming the 4 I got are a bad batch), or try something else. I've always known Michelin to be a great tire as my parents had them on the majority of the Cadillac's they owned without any issue. I gave the comfort portion a "Below Average" grade because riding in the car is far from comfortable. Hopefully the next set isn't as awful...

I have just purchased and installed these beauties on my C7 Corvette Z51. Awesome performance in light snow and icy conditions! I researched tires extensively looking for a cold climate tire for my new Corvette and wnet with the new Pilot Sport A/S 3's all around! This morning before getting the tires, it took 4 attempts to get up my 8% grade driveway on light snowy/icy conditions! Now the Corvette goes right up - no problems! I may just run them all 4 seasons - they are that good!

The steering response and feeling of safety were immediate as I drove away from installlation. The ride is smooth and handling is positive and comfortable. They really compliment the driving ability of my Infiniti G37X. Very pleased and highly recommend this product!

Wife and I have 3 cars and work from home. I mostly drive my Tacoma and she primarily drives our Lexus RX. Our 3rd car for very occasional local use is a 92 Lexus SC400. Today I took it in for an annual inspection and the treads are just about gone so we have to get replacements. I looked at my scanned receipts I always keep and we bought these tires in January of 2016. We don't take this car on long trips - just around town. It's one of these fair weather cars and we don't take it out of it's raining or snowing. We barely got 9000 miles on these ! Very disappointed. We also keep this car aligned. O-MGSH. I have a Lincoln MKT (large luxury SUV) and noticed splits in the sidewalls of a lesser brand tire after only 10K miles. Had them pulled off and bought the Pilot AS3's bc they're one of two that Michelin makes for my SUV and they have a higher mileage warranty. Quite pricey, too. I had them a month, thinking they'd soften out and quiet down. NOT! They were OUTRAGEOUSLY LOUD. 40mph they hummed. 45 I had to turn to see how close the 4X4 mudder was to my quarter panel and there was no one anywhere near. At 60mph, you couldn't drown out the roar! Michelin has always stood by their products, so my Lincoln dealer went to bat for me and I switched them out (at an added cost) for their Latitude Sports (HEFTY upcharge!) and LOVE THEM! I'm extremely happy that Michelin stood up but feel badly that I was so unhappy with the Pilots. Not recommended for ANYBODY. You could actually feel them hum through your foot on the accelerator! (No lie) Can't imagine any application where these would be acceptable. (Sorry!)

I purchased these tires since they are the only low profile speed rated tires on the market with a mileage warranty. I barely have 30K miles on the tires - rear tires are at 3/32 and front tires are at 4/32 - basically worn out. Tire wear is even on all 4 tires. I take good care of the tires - B&R every 6K miles(side to side since F&R are different sizes), alignment min 1 per year and maintain air pressure. I've been extremely gentle with these tires since they cost big bucks and I wanted them to last. I really liked the tires until now. They don't grip as well as summer tires in the curves but I was willing to make that trade if I could get better mileage...OEM were competitor summer tires - got 36K miles before replacing. Ride comfort is very good, low noise; didn't see any difference in fuel mileage between OEM and these tires. I would have given these tires an A+ if I would have written the review shortly after I bought them but with only 30K miles on them, they did not last as long as I expected.

Used these tires to replace my Nero Zero's on my 2009 Mazdaspeed3. The Michelin's are significantly better in all areas. They are much quieter, handling and turn-in is sharper, and overall ride quality is a vast improvement over the Nero's. I'm a very happy customer!

Replaced OEM summer tires on my BMW. I was looking for something with a longer tread life and better grip that the OEM run flats. I haven't had these for more than 500 miles so far, but already they out-perform the OEM summer tires even in the dry and stay very grippy in the wet and sub-freezing temperatures I've seen in Cleveland this December. They were only so-so in light snow though and I ended up going back to my usual winter setup for the next few months. I would not recommend the A/S 3 for use in snow, at least on a RWD car, but it is capable in a pinch if you're in an area that doesn't frequently see snow. Just expect to accelerate very slowly and breaking distances were much longer than dedicated winter tires. I'm looking forward to the longer tread life as both sets of my summer tires averaged 12,000 miles before they were worn out.

I've got a 2003 BMW Performance ZHP 330i with factory staggered 18" wheels, and I've been running the Michelin A/S2 tires. Since I can't rotate them, I'll run 2 sets on the rear to 1 set on the front. I was very pleased with these tires and have a video of me driving through 10" of new snow with the front scoop pushing snow over the hood! Only a 2-wheel drive car! Now, I've just bought a set of AS3 tires, and I really like them. They seem quieter than the AS2s and handle just amazing. And for a low-profile tire (255/35-18) they are very comfortable riding. My goal is to have 1 set of tires that I can run in all 4 seasons, here in Colorado. The AS3s are going to fit that bill nicely. So far, I've only been able to test them on dry interstate, and hardpack snow/ice on side roads. Amazing traction! There really is no reason to run dedicated snow tires as these will take me through anything my car can reasonable drive through. A good test of all driving conditions is from I-70, then Hwy40 to Winter Park, which takes you through many switchbacks, over Berthoud Pass. Patchy ice/snow and dry roads, sharp corners, and downhill braking test all the capabilities of these new AS3s. They really do work that well! Thanks, Michelin!
