I had bought a set 4 Michelin tire for SUV couples years ago, it run very good and now I bought this set of 4 tires of Mihelin Pilot spt as 3 for others car. In my whole life time I always buy Michelin tires for all the car I have had in the past. I always ask question and get answer from those who knows tires, Michelin tires is a trust, I hope you keep making better and better tires in the years to come.

Autoweek advisors tested the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's on a dry autocross course beating out top performance summer tires with more dry grip. The Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's also tested quicker than competitive tires and the best for wet and dry braking distances.

bought these tires for my little Audi A4 at 66000 miles. At 86000 miles my dealer balanced at my request but refused to rotate since the tires are" worn to the wear bar and cupped badly". Loved the quiet ride and road dependability but will sadly took for another brand now. I use the Audi around town 60% and highway 40%. I am very disappointed to be needing a new set of tires.

I'd like to start off by stating two things: first, I drive A LOT (upwards of 40k miles a year) and second, I am the most passive, relaxed driver ever- no hard cornering, no hard braking, no hard acceleration, I'm basically a grandpa behind the wheel. I bought these tires to replace the OEM tires (not Michelin) that came with my car that needed replacing after just 26,000 miles hoping to get some longevity and slightly improved handling. At first, I was IN LOVE with them; there was added stability on the highway, they were quieter than the old tires, I felt safe, and they got me through the snow of a Utah winter without any fuss. This past Saturday, I had my tires rotated and found out that two are down to 5/32 and the other two are down to 4/32. These tires are 2 and 3/32 of an inch away from being to the wear bars after just...wait for it...19,000 miles. I bought these tires last September, and they are about already worn, not to mention reduced my MPG average by about 4 per tank...that's almost 60 miles less per tank than I was getting before. I am so disappointed in Michelin. These tires haven't even made it through half of their rated milage and will probably need replacing around 32,000 miles, a whopping 13,000 less than their warranty. Michelin doesn't care. I wouldn't recommend these to my worst enemy. They look nice and that's about it.

Purchased set for daughter's Jetta Sportwagen 2.5 last month & was impressed. Just put a set on my Jetta TDI Sportwagen and am very impressed. Ride is much smoother than with OE tires, and it is quieter. Car now also corners much better--much better. Braking is superb! Will follow up after several thousand miles.

Bought these tires two years ago, put less than 40,000km on them and they are already worn out. I live in Ontario and with our first snowfall yesterday I almost got into two accidents since I was slipping and sliding everywhere. Stay away from these tires.

I had the AS3 installed on my VW Jetta TDI. What a difference these tire make compared to the set that were on the car when I bought it. Significant road noise reduction and a smoother ride, without a doubt. Extremely happy with my purchase. When the tires need to be replaced on my wife's vehicle, I'll be looking at Michelin again.

An update on my initial review. I had the chance today to take my 135i with the A/S 3's for an extended drive today. I drove a combination of highway, city and rural roads. I can not believe this is the same car. The ride and handling of the car is better than ever and appears to have further improved after getting a few miles on the tires. As I stated earlier, the car is now quiet and all the rattles and creaks that drove me nuts are now gone. My only regret is that this tire was not available when I first purchased the car and that I put up with the run-flats for two years.

Terrible in snow starting, stopping or turning. I REALLY hope I don't wreck my car. Any amout of snow....dusting, blowing, 1/4 inch or 3 inches these tires are simply over matched. Ride is rougher too but I assume that will translate into great grip on the corners when we take it to solo2 this summer.

I just replaced the OEM tires on my GTI. These new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires are better in every respect that matters to me. They might be a little noiser than the originals, and I have noticed a slight decrease in gas mileage, but these are small tradeoffs for the amazing wet road traction. Of course, some of the mileage decrease might just be because I am driving more enthusiastically, since the car is really more enjoyable to drive now. The car is much more composed over poor road surfaces, and I haven't been able to induce wheel hop, something that was easy with the old tires on a wet road. Great job, Michelin, you have a winner!
