USE to be a great cup!

We have been purchasing these cups from Sam's Club for years. They were always a great quality cup until about 6 months ago. I thought that maybe I had just gotten a bad batch of the cups but after 1-2 uses they were leaking/weeping out of the bottom. Normally I could use the cup for 3-4 cups of coffee throughout the day (occasionally use the same cup for a couple of days). Not the case anymore. I assume that the quality of the cup has changed because I have gone through quite a few bags that were purchased months apart and I am still having the same issue.

Would have been 5 stars

I have purchased these cups for years and have been very pleased. Recently purchased some and they leaked. Thought it may just be one or two, but after trying several, it became apparent that it wasn't. Returned them yesterday to local Sams Club and purchased new ones with different stamping on the bottom. Really like the cups, haven't tried the new pack yet, hoping they don't leak.

what happened?

Just restocked our 20 oz perfectouch dixie cups, and now our 20 oz dixie lids don't fit! The shape of the cup changed! It is taller and thinner than previous 20 oz cups. I don't see anything on the Sams website describing a change, do we need to order the 12/16 ounce lids (do they work?)?? We are stuck with 200 cups and no fitting lids!!!! Beware!

Not for the hot coffee from my brewer

Unlike another brand, these are way too hot to hold after pouring hot coffee from my Flexbrew. I don’t like how these are packed either, as the lids are way on the opposite side of the stack of cups. So depending on which side you open the bag you either have to remove a whole stack of cups to get to a lid or a whole stack of lids to get to a cup. No thanks, I’ll stick with the Chinet cups as my regular go to to-go cups.

Leaking cups

Purchased these cups and I had to purchase the lids separately. The number of lids do not match the number of cups unless you purchase extra packages of cups. Anyway these cups leak. The liquid stays in the cup but you can see a stain on the outside seam. If you push in on the stain the cup will rupture. Not a good cup. Packages of cups should have the lids in the same package matching the number of cups. I did return the cups, lids and received full credit for my purchase.

Lids no longer fit

I have been using the 20 ounce version of these cups for years, buying the black lids separately in a large box. They worked as expected. Dixie has changed the cups, with no warning on the packaging, so that the lids no longer fit. I’m stuck with a large supply of lids that don’t fit. I am also not happy about having cups with no lids.

Good value, better product than most

These are great cups. I use to buy the 12oz ones in the store, then decided to order online so that I wasn't spending so much. I thought that the 10oz ones would be big enough, and they were a better value, so I ordered them instead of the 12. I now wish that I would have ordered the 12oz ones though, because the ones I got could stand to be a little bigger. But overall, they are a great cup. Made very well so that they do not burn your hand, and are very sturdy. Great value.

Why change what worked???

Have used these cups for several years as like the textured feel of cup. This time the black lids don't fit and I read in the reviews that Dixie has changed the profile, shape. What to do with the 300+ black lids I have ?!!! Plus, this new package of 20 oz cups have ALOT of ones that leak at bottom. Not liking the "new" profile :(

Changed

I have been buying these 20oz cups for a couple of years and loved them. However my most recent purchase has left me very dissatisfied. The cup has changed slightly in size and no longer fits the 20oz lids of which I have hundreds of. The quality is now atrocious. Coffee begins seeping through the base of the cup within minutes. Now I have hundreds of lids that don't fit for coffee cups that don't actually hold in coffee. Very disappointed. For years they we're top quality. Now..,.....they are not.

20 oz. cups have been changed

They changed the 20 oz. cups. They now use the same lid as the smaller cups. Since you get 500 lids in a box, and only 100 cups in a package, I have almost a whole box of 20 oz. lids that don’t fit the 20 oz. cups now and I had to buy more lids because they changed the cups. Since the lids are smaller, to keep the cup 20 oz., they made the cup taller and skinnier. They are now top heavy and don’t fit snug in car cup holders. They want to tip and spill making a mess frequently in the car now. Also the old cups, you could put 20 oz. of liquid in and have plenty of room to stir and add sugar, etc. With the new cups, if you put 20 oz. of liquid in, it is full to the rim. No extra room at all. They seem closer to 19 oz. than 20 oz. i miss the old cups, and may have bought my last package of these.
