I’m very tech savvy, the process makes sense but the payment options are limited on line VS In the store this should have been updated before launching this idea. Not having a note description section makes no sense considering the options are now very limited. For us to have to pay for membership & not be able to order a cake in store is ridiculous!!

Had 2 cakes made by sams in the last 2 months the process of doing it online was definitely harder than jut doing it in store with a person. The cakes themselves were good they tasted great and looked as requested and expected and there’s a really quick turn over which is nice or you can put an order in up to a month in advance which is also nice for planning ahead.

I got the round 10 inch cake with whipped frosting For my mom’s 95th birthday party and it was so very good. It was moist wasn’t dry and the whipped icing tasted really good. It wasn’t too sweet and everyone really enjoyed it. I was pleasantly surprised at how Delicious it was.

We ordered the cake a couple weeks ahead for my husband. We got there and were handed a cake that said “Happy Birthday Grandma”. Tried telling them it wasn’t right. We ordered Chocolate Cake with white frosting. Frosting was correct but cake was white. Obviously wrong. They then searched in the cooler and came out with a cake with my husband’s name on it. We took it home and when we got home, the cake was white instead of the chocolate we ordered. Got it wrong at every turn. We decided to roll with it but the cake also tasted weird. Wasn’t good. So we threw it out and went and got one from another store.

The white layer cake was delicious. I ordered it with the white whipped frosting. It was beautifully decorated. The colors and writing were really pretty. The only thing that I didn't like was that the "sprinkle" decorations pressed on the side of the cake were very hard. I'm concerned that someone might break a tooth on them as they eat the cake. We ended up trimming off the frosting with the sprinkles. They were festive and very pretty, but next time I order a cake, I will skip the sprinkles. Some of the large round decorations around the base of the cake weren't frosting. I think they were jawbreakers. I believe there should have been a note about that in the ordering process and with the cake when I picked it up. I want to mention that the cake had good flavor and texture and the whipped frosting was tasty. It was a great value, too, compared to what I would have paid at a grocery store or regular bakery.

The new guidelines of ordering a cake only on line instead of calling the bakery or simply just stopping by to place an order. The new method is not working. The new method gives you a pickup time but the order is not ready at the time. The employee or employees in the bakery doesn't have enough time to get caught up.Like the saying go "If it's not broke don't try and fix it"

The cake was delicious. It was vanilla on the inside with chocolate icing on the outside. It had pink and yellow roses on it. It was beautiful. Only wish we could have made one layer white and one layer chocolate since we can't get marbled anymore.

The cake is delicious. The online only ordering policy is horrible. Can't order a cake over the phone or even in person. Must do it online. Only get a minimum of 4 color choices online, even though management says they offer 19 colors. Was told if I want a different color icing than the ones offered online, I need to order the cake online, wait a couple of hours until it is "in the system" and then call them to make changes to my order. So, you can make changes over the phone, but you can't take a cake order over the phone? If you don't have or know how to use a computer/smart phone, you can't order a cake. This leave out more people (especially the elderly) than Sam's realizes. This terrible policy needs changed ASAP!

The cake was beautiful but was split open like they had dropped the cake and put icing on it to hold it together 😡. The store was closed for the holiday I couldn’t take it back it was my granddaughter’s 8 birthday party. Over she enjoyed her birthday and we had the cupcakes to share with family and friends

The cake was the perfect size and delicious. My family loves buttercream and the website made it easy to order and the pay so once I arrived in the store I just had to head over to the bakery area and pick up the cake and leave without standing in line which saved a lot of time. I always will choose Sam’s Club for my bakery needs.
