The only colors for whipped icing online are white and brown! The online ordering will not let me order any other colors. I can no longer get my cakes from Sam's because I cannot order what I want. My family is so disappointed because Sam's was the place we always got our cakes, and all of us love the whipped icing. Bring back in-store ordering!

This online ordering website for the bakery is horrible. I have customized about 15 cakes so far and when my order is sent to the cart the cake is no longer customized with the information I entered. Tried calling the bakery just to get no response. The phone rings and someone hangs up on you. Had to order online from Safeway because I do not have time to get to Sams Club after work hours to order. Please fix this issue for the future.

Lot of cake for my buck. Beautifully decorated and delicious, I only took one star away because there were some very hard candies on the cake that were nearly tooth chipping. Think jawbreaker candies on a cake. They weren’t hard to pick off once we knew they were there, but wish they hadn’t been included.

The online order for cakes is not computer friendly. It will not let you order the colors you like , limited to three selection. This system sucks.Please bring the employee back . I was very disappointed with my daughter 18th birthday cake . This is the first time in 20 years that I was dissatisfied with the service with Sam’s.

I bought a custom decorated cake that you have to order online, even when you are at the club. The process was simple enough. The selection of decorations is very limited for colors and decorations. When you enter the message it is limited and will not allow any punctuation. Once the character limit it just stops even when you type more (no warning) so double check your entry. When I got the cake, the message was printed on an edible sheet and placed in the cake. The color of the lettering was faded and the sheet was wrinkled. Besides looking cheap, the entire sheet slide on the top when the cake was cut. Overall, not the experience I have come to expect from the custom cakes I have ordered in the past. I gave it 2 stars because the cake was good and the decoration (flowers and edge) that was hand made looked good. Would not purchase a custom cake again with this new process.

Even when you are in the club, you are forced toward their own line and prepay for the cake. There are less options since before, even when I used to pick a theme I could tweak the colors of the frosting. But now, none of that is available. Also I rather pay at peace once we know that there is no issue. Rather than use my credit card information online. I had an issue with my order. And didn't pick up one of them and I was still charged for the full amount since the amount had been preautized Customer service couldn't help me because is considered a pickup It was fixed by the store after several calls, an unnecessary hassle.

I have ordered cakes from Sam's Club for years. There has always been a nice selection of decorations to choose from and I have never considered going anywhere else. The cakes are always fresh and delicious. Now that I have to order online, there is a VERY limited amount of cake decorations to choose from. Then when I tried to add a message, I couldn't even fit Happy Birthday and my daughter's name!! I am beyond disappointed with this change!! I will not be ordering from your bakery in the future for a customized cake unless something changes.

I ordered the 10” round custom cake for a baby shower. I had a special elephant candle for the cake topper I wanted to use. It was absolutely wonderful! It was exactly as I ordered plain with light pink icing and trim. The cake was SO fresh and amazing!! Everyone attending the shower wanted to know where the amazing cake came from. The cake was ready on time and got an email as soon to notify me it was ready for pickup. This was my first order of a custom cake from Sam’s Club and I will definitely be ordering again. Thank you Homewood, AL Sam’s Club for the great service and cake!!!

Purchased this cake today, got home and cut the cake and the top layer had cake missing from it. The decorator filled in the missing parts with icing. Hope cake did not have any type of insects, rodents or bacteria eating away at the cake. Cake definitely should not have been sold to anyone.
