would have been a great cake if the staff followed the notes and spelling. picked up my daughter's cake, rushed home only to realize they ignored the correct spelling of her name on the notes and spelled her name incorrectly. so frustrating

I ordered this cake 2 days ago. The new ordering system sucks. Went to ask for help in store after they told me I had to do it online and it wouldn’t let me customize. The bakery people couldn’t help me either since they themselves don’t know their new system. Couldn’t order any of the cakes I wanted since you can’t change color so I had to do a simple white cake which I ended up doing but it wasn’t the size I needed. Once I ordered and went to pick up the cake frosting was all cracked. They fixed it but within the drive home(less than 10min) it was back to how I first got it. They clearly added the frosting when the cake was still warm the day before. Really disappointed, Sams was always our go to for cakes. I had to add a bunch of flowers on the cake to cover all the cracks. The fact that it was a simple white cake and was a disaster is so annoying.

I ordered the 10” round custom cake for a baby shower. I had a special elephant candle for the cake topper I wanted to use. It was absolutely wonderful! It was exactly as I ordered plain with light pink icing and trim. The cake was SO fresh and amazing!! Everyone attending the shower wanted to know where the amazing cake came from. The cake was ready on time and got an email as soon to notify me it was ready for pickup. This was my first order of a custom cake from Sam’s Club and I will definitely be ordering again. Beautiful cake

The only colors for whipped icing online are white and brown! The online ordering will not let me order any other colors. I can no longer get my cakes from Sam's because I cannot order what I want. My family is so disappointed because Sam's was the place we always got our cakes, and all of us love the whipped icing. Bring back in-store ordering!

Even when you are in the club, you are forced toward their own line and prepay for the cake. There are less options since before, even when I used to pick a theme I could tweak the colors of the frosting. But now, none of that is available. Also I rather pay at peace once we know that there is no issue. Rather than use my credit card information online. I had an issue with my order. And didn't pick up one of them and I was still charged for the full amount since the amount had been preautized Customer service couldn't help me because is considered a pickup It was fixed by the store after several calls, an unnecessary hassle.

Lot of cake for my buck. Beautifully decorated and delicious, I only took one star away because there were some very hard candies on the cake that were nearly tooth chipping. Think jawbreaker candies on a cake. They weren’t hard to pick off once we knew they were there, but wish they hadn’t been included.

The process to order the cake is very limited and there is no way to put punctuation or to input something on another line. It all runs together in the online app. I called the store to get assistance and no answer in the bakery or customer service. Won’t ever order cakes using this process.

Please bring back offering real custom cakes! The online only process is such a headache and unfair to your members. The online process is very limited on what is offered and the ability to customize. Unfortunately, there is not an option to add punctuation or separate the words by line. I was also told by an in-store bakery worker that there is "no font or script" for the message on the cake and you can't choose whether it is cursive or print; it is written however the person who adds the wording writes. Please bring back excellent customer service and customer satisfaction because when memberships declines due to all of the negative changes, Sam's Club will increase membership prices (again), close stores, or both!

This online ordering website for the bakery is horrible. I have customized about 15 cakes so far and when my order is sent to the cart the cake is no longer customized with the information I entered. Tried calling the bakery just to get no response. The phone rings and someone hangs up on you. Had to order online from Safeway because I do not have time to get to Sams Club after work hours to order. Please fix this issue for the future.
