I have ordered my cakes from Sam's for years, but this year was different. Cake tasted good but icing colors bled down the white icing making it look bad even before the birthday activities. Now, you can't order through a person by calling. If you want more options or something special on it like a rice toping picture, you can't specify that online, so you still have to call and find out how to order that. The process was not user friendly and required more time. Also, if the cake needs to be refrigerated, it should be marked on the label or staff should advise. I asked when I picked it up, but the staff said they didn't think it needed to be, but I wonder if that's why the colors bled. Anyway, thankfully it still tasted good!

Ordered this for coworker and was so excited when I saw it. It was just beautiful! I had three people stop me to ask how I got that personalized cake at Sam’s. It was very tasty; maybe a little too rich, But everyone at the office enjoyed it. Serves a lot of people.

The cake was decorated just as ordered, but the uneven application of icing wasn’t nice and smooth. Unfortunately within a few hours the icing started to crack. This same thing happened with another cake I purchased at Sams. I’m not sure what the issue is, but it ruins the presentation of the cake for the occasion. The good thing was the cake itself was delicious and so well priced. I tried to add a photo of the cake but could not do so.

I placed my order online which was super easy and fast. A couple days before my scheduled pickup I called the bakery to see if I can get my cake a day early, they were very kind and gracious enough to make the change. The cake turned out just as I imagined it. the writing on top was great. Sam's Club cakes have never done me wrong.

I was a little Hesitant getting a cake that was chocolate with chocolate icing. But it was what my friend wanted for his wife’s birthday. I was surprised at how fresh moist and delicious this cake was. I would recommend the baker of this cake to anyone. It was absolutely fantastic from the Canton Michigan Sams Club.

The cake itself was wonderful, however I ordered on line because no one answered the phone. In ordering online it was not very descriptive. The color was fine but sprinkles were added to the side of the cake. A LOT of sprinkles. I do not recall reading that on line. Very disappointed. No one likes this many sprinkles!

I ordered this 10” round cake for my husband for Father’s Day. He wanted a round layer cake because he loves the extra icing in the middle of the layers. This cake had only a minuscule amount of icing between the layers! It was like they forgot to put any in! The decorations were good, but the whole reason I bought the round cake instead of a sheet cake was to give him more icing. That’s the first layer cake I’ve ever purchased without icing in the middle. Very disappointing!!

The new virtual system is awful. Customer service at an all time low. The bakery person stood in front of me, iPad in hand, and made me download the app and place my order online. This took me at least 15 minutes or more when she could have done it in 5 minutes or less. She was perfectly nice but corporate insisted customers use this method. Cake was fine but customer service gone. Corporate this is not cool, some customers want to talk to someone if they’re available.

I came into the club around 7:00pm to order a birthday cake for my son. Thinking I had to fill out a form and drop it in the order box. I was surprised to see that the new protocol for ordering a cake is, you have to scan the QR code and fill everything out online. The Link to order your cake was extremely confusing. With the help of a manager and also an employee from the bakery department, it took four times of trying to fill it out to finally get it somewhat correct. I called the next morning to make sure they received the order and they did. The following day I picked my cake up. it was beautiful with an edible image. when I got home as we were celebrating my son‘s birthday the cake was supposed to be chocolate and it was white. Very disappointing!

The cake was delicious!! If you’re wanting a cake for any occasion, look no further than Sam’s Club! The butter cream icing was smooth, creamy, and the perfect level of sweetness. The cake was moist, and fresh. And you can’t beat the price, you’d pay a lot more for the same cake at a bakery.
