I ordered 12 of these cakes for our kids wedding reception and they worked out perfectly! Would highly recommend. A specially decorated tiered cake was ordered from a bakery for the bride and groom to cut, and these cakes were used to serve to the guests. We picked them up two days in advance and they were still so fresh on the wedding day. The packaging was also excellent and sturdy, allowing us to stack them in our refrigerators. Obviously, the price is excellent also!

The cake itself tasted good and the buttercream was sweet and delicious, howeverthe quality of decorations has been going downhill. Sam's used to offer pretty roses on the cakes, but only does rosettes in buttercream or whip and you don't even get to choose what colors YOU want. Now you're lucky to have the rosettes to even have a full swirl to them and the border piping has been uneven for the past few cakes. The bakers were also unpleasant to myself and were rude to other customers. I wish they could automate this area with a decorating robotic assembly line.

The cake was the expected Sam's Club quality. The ordering process however is making me look for another place to buy our cakes. The old paper system was so much better. The new online system is so user unfriendly that I'm not even going to use it again. Whoever did the programming should be fired. Issue 1) I'm in the store, in the Sam's Club app, and when I scan the QR code on the cake ordering stand, you are forced to leave the app for it to work. 2) When you figure out how to actually get to the site to order, the menuing system doesn't allow you to back up a step (or more) if you want to review your selections. 3) The color samples are nowhere near accurate, which makes #2 more important. If your issue was people ordering custom cakes and never paying for them, this wasn't the way to fix that. Just make people pay when we order.

Good cakes, too bad you can't pick one up without ordering a day ahead. They used to have chocolate cake with whipped icing in the display case, have to order a day ahead. Like many things at Sam's club the value and convenience has disappeared. When our tires wear out we'll no longer have a reason to have a Sam's Club Membership.

The cake was the best cake I've ever ordered from any bakery. It was beautifully decorated and much bigger than expected. It was also the best chocolate cake we've ever ordered. Everyone at the party commented on the looks, taste and size of the cake.

The writing was not centered whatsoever & piping was not the way I requested it to be. It was supposed to be shells and I was given wonky balls. This cake was supposed to be for a surprise dinner & I had to redecorate the whole cake as soon as I got home because I was so embarrassed at the way it looked.

The cake itself was okay, but the new way of ordering custom cakes makes it hard to personalize the cakes properly. The icing was done very poorly and what was supposed to be "sprinkles" was a nasty "edible" banner. The banner had several areas they were falling off or wrinkled. When I asked the bakery worker why it looked like it did; she said it was because its hot outside, which made no sense because she took it straight out of the refrigerator. I was really disappointed in the display of the cake and really don't like the new way of ordering custom cakes on the app. It doesn't allow you enough space to explain what you want.

The cake was delicious but it wasn’t what I ordered. I ordered a custom cake for my daughter’s 11th birthday and the day of pick up it was just green writing and no design. The bakery said they weren’t able to use my design but I called prior to putting my order in and they said I could bring the photo in. I asked why didn’t someone call me and the employee said someone should have. I checked my phone and no missed calls nor voicemails. I informed them I would have cancelled the cake. I already paid for it online and it was the day of her birthday so I had no choice but to take her cake. I had to improvise myself to try to create somewhat the cake she wanted with printed photos and cake pop sticks. I was extremely disappointed but thank goodness my daughter was super understanding when I explained the situation.

The cake tasted amazing! Too bad the staff didn’t bother to check with the customer when their customized cake had no customization. Sam’s club staff said that they had been experiencing the text not showing up on the website. So when I ordered my customized birthday cake and it was missing customization details. They didn’t contact me they let us drive an hour and pick up a blank customized cake. What a disappointment!!!!

This cake was so delicious. I have ordered 3 of these cake one for Mother’s Day and one for Father’s Day and the other one was just because The all taste the same moist and the whipped cream icing was phenomenal. It was a nice size for the occasion. Would buy again highly recommend and I gets to do my own wording and decoration. Love. This cake is a must have. Try it you want regret it.
