I debated a long time about spending $$$ for a vacuum. So far- about a month in- I'm so glad I did! The cordless feature is so awesome! I used to constantly trip over my old vacuum cord and to be free of the cord is so wonderful! Plus the Dyson seems to clean better than my old vacuum, if the amount of hair and debris in the dust bin is any indication! Other reviewers complained about having to hold the trigger constantly but that hasn't been an issue for me. It is comfortable with the hand placement and not too heavy, even with my arthritic hands.

it is all I expected. a son has one so I knew what it can do. excellently designed and built, excellently packaged and presented. even with enough paper instructions I did not have to go on line to use it! Easy to break down and change attachments, and extremely easy to empty and clean. You pay for what you get, and at my age, i expect this will be the last vacuum we buy....

I love this vacuum. The suction power is amazing as is the battery life I love that it came with accessories and a mount to hang it with. One negative that prevented a perfect score is that you have to squeeze the trigger the whole time you're using it. Wish there was a one push solid on button. Also, as a handheld it is pretty heavy but does a fantastic job as car vacuum

Only had the Dyson V10 Animal for 3 weeks, so far I am loving it. I only gave 4 stars because I didn't think the attachment for steps and furniture picked up as well on carpeted steps. I would recommend to a friend for quick pick ups. I also have a Kirby, Filter Queen, and Rainbow sweeper and the suction on this battery stick vacuum is comparable. I keep a sweeper on each floor in my home.

I returned it. It was not what I expected, the dirt cup lid kept peening it doesn't even have a light It was a big disappointment and not worth the price one bit. When I took it back the person that waited on me said everyone is returning the, for the same reason/.

I have had other Dyson products. Good ,but complicated, quirky ,products. Most of the assembly is intuitive on a level of IKEA. You are on your own to get minor questions answered, unless you jump through many digital gauntlets. I had to forgo the wall mount that was supplied. No where in my townhouse to put it,exactly as required. I have to use the tiny, loose, wall wart adapter end. It would be good if there was a time alert on the battery, which stops regularly, before you actually finish. It does charge back up fairly quickly, but then you don't know how long it will go.And some sort of storage case that held all the attachments would also be welcome.

I bought this about a month ago. It's stronger than I thot, suction is great. Don't have to used the high suction mode, too strong. I did my entire house on a single battery (I have to change out my Dyson V6 battery 2-3 times for the house). And I don't have to remove the dust container to change out the battery. Only issue is that this does not come with a Soft Roller for hard floors. I had to order it separately.

My husband bought this for me for Christmas. At first I was put off by the purchase but I am now so glad he did. We have a lot of hardwood floors and antique rugs. This vacuum can do both with ease. I like the power button for the higher traffic areas and the gentle suction option for the thinner more delicate woven rugs. It also is the greatest for the car! Also a breeze to use on the stairs. The run time so far has been adequate for our needs.

I love my Dyson! I can get completely under my bed and switch attachments to do my couch, curtains and everything else. It is extremely powerful. My favorite thing is that my hair (which gets everywhere!) doesn't wrap around the roller. Total life saver!

Works as well as my regular vacuum cleaner but it's cordless, which makes it great and easy to use. Attachments easily snap on and off and it's easy to dump the collection of stuff you don't want laying around everywhere. No problem with the charge running short. Lighten up while you still can. Don't even try to understand. Make it easy.
