This is such a great and versatile vacuum. We use it to vacuum and dust, and it's so easy to use to clean up after our toddler. It's also great for cleaning up the car - which no longer is a big job with this little vacuum. We also got the dusting attachment and the hardwood floor roller, so now it's also replaced our duster and Swiffer for regular cleaning. I would have knocked off a star because it didn't come with the hardwood floor roller, and I think it should have, but I guess it's nice to have the option to buy at a lower price of you don't need the hardwood floor attachment.

I purchased this to replace an original V series vacuum which had finally expired. The replacement is many, many times better, in all aspects. Incredible suction you can feel, great attachments included and quick to charge. It's a breeze to empty and change the attachments. I have an older Dyson canister vacuum but I'm considering selling it. It's gathering dust.

I bought mine 2 weeks age and really like it . All in one . Has a light weight very easy to use with powerful suction. Before I hated vacuuming and now with this great vacuum I really like the cleaning my carpets. Very easy and quick. Thank you dyson.

I got my new Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal yesterday. I try it today. full charged (light 1->2->3 -> all three lights off) in around 2 hours. I use max suction to clean my car for only 10 minutes. the power signal indicate the power is low(only one light up) and I did clean my table around 5 minutes and power complete run out. I am not sure 15 minutes power time is the vacuum problem or is it my misused. please help.

I bought the V10 this week, and quite love it, with 2 exceptions .......... The off/on button is too easy to accidentally depress it when not intending to. Also, in my opinion, the hand grip is too narrow for all fingers to fit comfortably. Considering the weight of the unit which is rather heavy, a "wider and padded" handle would make it much more comfortable to operate, especially for seniors with decreased strength in the hand & arms.

I have a V8 which I love. I left it in our winter home and purchased a V10 for our main residence. Both vacuums are so easy to use and very effective. The V10 is a step up but the V8 is also excellent. I cannot imagine anyone ever buying anything else. The engineering is superb. Dyson costs more than some of competitors models. However, you get what pay for. The additional cost is absolutely worth it. I forgot a piece of the vacuum in Florida on our return to Canada. The customer service provided by Dyson was outstanding. I cannot rate Dyson high enough.

I received my vacuum today. I bought a refurbished V10 vacuum. It arrived and looks brand new. Not a mark on it. It ran like a dream for over an hour. It put our other vacuums to shame. The articulating Motörhead makes it easy to get in everywhere. It goes under all the furniture and made our carpets look brand new again. You might pay a premium price for a Dyson product so try their refurbished products. You won't be disappointed. Thanks again Dyson. I own a couple handhelds that have never disappointed either.

Bought the V7 Animal due to dog hair, this vacuum and its heavy price tag does not warrant it statements. The stench of pet dander that comes from the canister is awful, you have to open windows and burn candles. NO my dog does not stink she is bathed weekly. The nasty smell goes airborne during vacuuming just awful. Then the run time is pathetic, try doing 2 rugs and your out of luck, have to go charge so your cleaning drags on and on all day. Not only do pay the high price tag but in a short period you have to replace the battery at another couple of hundred dollars. Better to upgrade your central vacuum and get better performance and run time with no stench in the air. My nephews have the same smelly issue with theirs and their dogs and no we are not dirty dog owners. Will never buy a Dyson again.

I bought this 3 weeks ago, and I LOVE it. It's so manoeuvrable, effective and so light and easy to use! I also have a plug in Dyson that is pushing 10 years old and is still going strong, however I wanted a cordless and it has exceeded my expectations. I will be really upset though, if/when the battery begins to have issues since we all know battery things always have issues. I will also note that you have to be really careful how much you fill the small “tank”, and empty VERY frequently.

I bought mine about a month ago and found another nice looking cordless similar to the Dyson. So, because the price was less and had the features of the V12 I thought I better try that one too. It was pretty, but the suction was not as good, it did not maneuver around corners and edges smoothly, nor did it clean rt to the edges of walls. Still can't beat a Dyson. Well worth the money. My new Dyson does the carpet wonderfully as well. It can do my 4 level split and 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms on less than one charge. I did not need the boost at all. The only thing I struggle with is detaching the canister from the stick.
