This little vacuum does everything we needed it to do and more. We needed a small handheld unit for convenience and portability, and this has been an absolute dream! Gets into every nook and cranny, with strong continuous suction on demand. Couldn't be happier with this product!

I bought mine about a month ago and found another nice looking cordless similar to the Dyson. So, because the price was less and had the features of the V12 I thought I better try that one too. It was pretty, but the suction was not as good, it did not maneuver around corners and edges smoothly, nor did it clean rt to the edges of walls. Still can't beat a Dyson. Well worth the money. My new Dyson does the carpet wonderfully as well. It can do my 4 level split and 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms on less than one charge. I did not need the boost at all. The only thing I struggle with is detaching the canister from the stick.

Bought the V7 Animal due to dog hair, this vacuum and its heavy price tag does not warrant it statements. The stench of pet dander that comes from the canister is awful, you have to open windows and burn candles. NO my dog does not stink she is bathed weekly. The nasty smell goes airborne during vacuuming just awful. Then the run time is pathetic, try doing 2 rugs and your out of luck, have to go charge so your cleaning drags on and on all day. Not only do pay the high price tag but in a short period you have to replace the battery at another couple of hundred dollars. Better to upgrade your central vacuum and get better performance and run time with no stench in the air. My nephews have the same smelly issue with theirs and their dogs and no we are not dirty dog owners. Will never buy a Dyson again.

Bought the V10 for Black Friday ... as with our old V8, suction is great ... but this model has horrible wand to canister attachment. I struggle for 5 to 10 minutes every time I try to empty the bin. It is so frustrating Grr .. no vacuum - even one that had great suction - is worth that level of aggravation .. I will be sending it back !

I bought this 3 weeks ago, and I LOVE it. It's so manoeuvrable, effective and so light and easy to use! I also have a plug in Dyson that is pushing 10 years old and is still going strong, however I wanted a cordless and it has exceeded my expectations. I will be really upset though, if/when the battery begins to have issues since we all know battery things always have issues. I will also note that you have to be really careful how much you fill the small “tank”, and empty VERY frequently.

I got my new Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal yesterday. I try it today. full charged (light 1->2->3 -> all three lights off) in around 2 hours. I use max suction to clean my car for only 10 minutes. the power signal indicate the power is low(only one light up) and I did clean my table around 5 minutes and power complete run out. I am not sure 15 minutes power time is the vacuum problem or is it my misused. please help.

I bought this machine a month ago and what a difference from my older Dyson DC35 machine. Stronger suction, different power levels as well as a longer battery life. The duration of the battery does vary on the level you choose and I found using the middle level allowed the battery to last longer. Although I bought the Dyson 10 cyclone Animal and we have no animals, there is no longer any hair on the power bar, it just goes straight into the bin. The new bin holds more and easily gets pushed out of the bin and into the garbage, so you never have to touch it. My only criticisms would be my model came with several attachments which do not all fit onto the docking station.

I bought this a year and a half ago, it was a great vacuum at first but after about 8 months it starting having issues with saying it has a clogged filter. After countless times of cleaning the filter, and taking things apart to clean it I can not get the vacuum to run. Very disappointed as you do pay for the "Dyson" name but it did not hold up. It is not worth the money and is unreliable.

I used this a few days ago for the first time and love it! My carpets look brand new! So much dirt came out, you'd think it had been months since I'd last vacuumed instead of a couple of weeks (my old one broke). It is so easy and light to use, the canister is easy to empty. I can't say enough positive things about it!

It's good, but I did pay extra for the Animal version as I have two dogs. My brother bought the regular version and we compared. They basically work the same. The vacuum end is advertised as tangle free, but it definitely still tangles. It is convenient to pull apart to clean, but not what's advertised. So....I think I just spent more money
