Good TV for the price.

Bought this for a second bedroom. Picture is very good, sound adequate, settings menu is very slow to respond and the menus are not well thought out. For the price, I would get another one if I had the need. The sleep timer is buried many sub menu's deep. Called customer support for some help, they couldn't help, they said they would escalate and I never heard back.

Only thing that does not work perfectly or I do not know how to work is the following: I wear hearing aids and I walk on a treadmill and watch tiv. While on the treadmill I wear ear phones to listen to the tv. If I am watching anything on cable I get the sound from the show that is on. However if I am streaming it does not give me the sound that should come from the streaming show. The TV has the sound but they do not go to the headphones like other sounds do. Also if I play any television show I listen to the sound at 15 but if it is a streaming show I need to turn it up to 80.......... is this normal?

Terrible experience

Just 3 months since I bought the smart TV, I can't change the channels, the laser remote control with the TV doesn't communicate corectly. It doesn't change the channels or it changes to another channel or it just takes a while “thinking” the tv and dies nothing! Bad TV. Now to return a nightmare!

Good picture, challenging with two remotes

Enjoy picture and sound. Sure wish there was a way to use one remote instead of two Still have a hard time with getting correct channel when turning on. When selecting channel when first turned on, it can go to three other channels before we get the correct one. And hard to adjust for picture quality cause there are so many choices. There are so many directions and ways to learn how to adjust, it just is confusing. Faded picture from side view.

Nothing fancy - very slow

This is a plain Jane smart TV. The image is nice and there is nothing to complain about in that respect. I have a sound bar and subwoofer which is great because the sound is terrible. The TV is slow. Once we have a show or a movie on there's no problem. But navigating to a different app, or sometimes within an app, it is very slow. We wonder if we didn't hit the button correctly or what is going on. I am somewhat surprised at how slow it is. Also, weird thing, our Blu Ray player doesn't work with this TV. I tried the Blu Ray player with 2 different TVs and it's perfectly well. I borrowed a friend's Blu Ray player and it didn't work with our TV despite the fact that we had just tested it on his TV 15 minutes earlier. The issue is that there is no audio. I've tried all the suggested fixes to no avail.

A hard transition from our other tv

We bought this tv in February right before Super bowl. Have had a lot of adjustments that I never considered. There are only 2 HDMI ports so that's one for the dish box and the other for….the DVR. Because LG doesn't allow either the PBS app or the Hoopla app, it's very frustrating. So to access those shows, we have to unplug the DVR and plug in the Roku. The Whole point of the smart TV WAS TO GET RID OF THE ROKU but we can't be use of the limited apps. If I had known would not have purchased this tv. I've tried using a splitter but it has not worked
