Great TV tricky remote

I bought this tv recently and this is the fourth LG tv I have owned. I appreciate the quality for the price. As we have some impaired hearing in our family, we find this tv has better sound than other brands. I would like a remote that is not so touchy to use. It is called a magic remote, just give me a simpler one. I grew up with a tv where you had to get up and turn the channel and volume so I can manage an ordinary remote easily.

I bought this TV a few weeks ago and I am very pleased that I did. It is very easy to operate, the picture is very bright and illuminating. It has a lot of interesting features. The remote fits nicely in your hand and it is not hard to figure out how to use it. I highly recommend this LG product.

Disappointed overall

1.Expected this smart tv to work as smoothly as my previous Toshiba Fire TV- it doesn't. I stream YouTube TV & other apps which I expect the LG set- which is a tool- to "support" and play all. If I put a CD or other downloaded/copied media in my car radio or playback equipment it plays. I expect a tv to do the same with my apps. 2.The remote is cumbersome to use. It has more unneeded/unused buttons which make finding the one wanted difficult. 3.The Alexa button sometimes requires 2 presses and often doesn't respond at all. 4.The floating arrow is annoying & difficult to control- even set at its slowest set speed. 5.Jeopardy stopped recording its last 2 episodes while other preset/auto records worked. I could not find a way to access and clear the cache. Therefore, I deleted & reloaded the YouTube TV app & I'm waiting to see if corrects this tonight. 6.The display of LG channels annoying, thereby making selecting preferred apps more difficult.

Processor slow, remote is a pain

We bought our new TV a couple of weeks ago and wish that we would have made another choice. If you're looking for a great picture and sound, this is a great TV. The price was also well within our budget. Complaints: It seems to take forever for channels to load. Please don't suggest that it's our internet speed because we have one of the fastest out there. Then there is the remote... why is a mouse type remote needed for a television? My personal suggestion is to avoid this TV and go with something else.

Not compatible to my cable service

My LG smart tv is not compatible with my spectrum cable service, and it's an app only. I don't understand, especially since the tv is supposed to be current with app compatible software. I was told by spectrum that LG is the only smart tv that doesn't download their app. I have to buy another device in order to download the app to get access to my cable channels.
