privacy invasion -- no thanks

The TV itself is pretty good. However, with the most recent software update, you cannot use the streaming functions at all unless you agree to allow LG to thoroughly analyze every show or movie you watch or game you play, regardless of whether you watch through the streaming apps. Since I refuse to agree to that kind of privacy invasion, I basically now have an 86 inch dumb TV with no ability to use any of the "smart" functions that were so heavily advertised.

65 remote is hard to use

the tv is great except for the remote. now i just get an email from LG telling me to get the most from my tv. the remote was the same as mine except mine is missing nice lettering and labels. NO easy labels and very small. half the time i turn channel trying to adjust volume. aggravating compared to nice labelled remote in picture..

Not elderly friendly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am savvy with my iPhone and MacBook and spectrum remote, but this remote is a challenge. Several steps too get my TV on and sometimes also requires use of my spectrum remote. If you have familial tremors. it takes two hands to position selection. In spite of all this, essentially I can access most of what I want to view. When you run into problems takes effort to figure out solution, e.g. lightening storm and power loss, getting both this tv and spectrum cable box takes a bit of doing. Like everything else when you get to figure out things, everything his ok. Past of learnkingprocess. End result is TV is fine and has tons of features that if I don't use, my grandkids seem to be auto programmed to know how access. Everything else about the TV is top notch quality and vale priced.

Not reliable

Bought this 2 yrs ago. Magic remote constantly stops working. Unregister then reregister. Now after upgrade voice recognition won't work. Techs are attempting to find a fix. No idea how long or even if they can. NO MORE LG TELEVISIONS!!!!??

Was impressed with all the features availablle

Don't buy LG

We haven't even had this TV 3 years and the hardware that connects the TV to the wifi has completely gone out. It's useless. This is the second LG product we have had that did this. We will only be buying Samsung from now on.

Update crazy

Good picture especially for the price. 3 stars is because it has a new update every two weeks it seems. So if you like updating when you rush in to catch the last of the game…. This is the tv for you
