privacy invasion -- no thanks

The TV itself is pretty good. However, with the most recent software update, you cannot use the streaming functions at all unless you agree to allow LG to thoroughly analyze every show or movie you watch or game you play, regardless of whether you watch through the streaming apps. Since I refuse to agree to that kind of privacy invasion, I basically now have an 86 inch dumb TV with no ability to use any of the "smart" functions that were so heavily advertised.

Great tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this about a month after tweaking the settings I am happy with the picture. The set starts up quickly. The remote is fun to use. The HDR is acceptable but not great at this price point it's good.

Love LG, but too many glitches.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought my TV 2 weeks ago. Since then Magic Remote is not compatible with my cable box (will not turn off cable box), screen interference when watching sports and movies, when turning on tv, with cable remote or magic remote, the screen opens to the LG Home Screen and I then have to use the magic remote to close this screen and get to my cable channels. I know all this because I have been in your chat room for what seems like hours with very little success. I find this frustrating that I just cannot have a verbal conversation with someone and get these bugs worked out. I really like LG tv's and plan on keeping this product for a few more weeks while wondering "what's next", but if I cannot get these problems resolved I will return this tv and try someone else's product. Sorry for the poor review.

I love the TV but...

I bought the TV yesterday (26 Jan 23). Everything went smoothly - unpacking, setup etc. Unfortunately, after turning it on the first time I saw that my picture has a dark section on the left of the TV. I love the TV even with this little flaw but I can't a replacement for two weeks. It is out of stock where I purchased it. It's going to be a long two weeks but in the end I believe the TV will be worth the wait.

Terrible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV 2 months ago and had nothing but trouble with it. I have Bluetooth hearing aids and it won't stay connected. The so called "Magic remote arrow point straight. It always way to the right side of the TV. I was sent another one but it does the same thing. I have had 6 LG TV 's and this one is the only one I've problems with.

Great Picture, but system is cumbersome

This tv has a great picture, but it's not very intuitive to use the functions. The remote has too many buttons and the buttons are not tactile. Easy to hit the wrong button. The WEB-OS and set-up functions are cumbersome. Other tv manufactures are recognizing less is more with simple remotes, easy on-screen navigation, and intuitive settings.

Not what I had hoped for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The magic remote is the worst type ever.It always points in a different direction. Lg sent me another one and it does the same thing. I have Bluetooth hearing aids and the TV pairs up with them but the TV keeps cutting out my connection and sometimes completely turns off the connection.I have another TV, same model, everything works perfectly. I can go to a different location in or out of the house and never loose my Bluetooth connection.

Excelente Product love all the features

Not elderly friendly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am savvy with my iPhone and MacBook and spectrum remote, but this remote is a challenge. Several steps too get my TV on and sometimes also requires use of my spectrum remote. If you have familial tremors. it takes two hands to position selection. In spite of all this, essentially I can access most of what I want to view. When you run into problems takes effort to figure out solution, e.g. lightening storm and power loss, getting both this tv and spectrum cable box takes a bit of doing. Like everything else when you get to figure out things, everything his ok. Past of learnkingprocess. End result is TV is fine and has tons of features that if I don't use, my grandkids seem to be auto programmed to know how access. Everything else about the TV is top notch quality and vale priced.

Great size

Very bright, deep blacks and a matte-like finish to reduce glares to a minimum. Absolutely worth the investment, and is easy to wall mount with some friends or family!
