I've been using another brand for over a decade and to try the new Tide was exhilarating. My clothes came out looking as if I just purchased and washed them for the first time. The cap works as a measurer and under the handle, there is a transparent line of the container that shows the amount, that remains inside. Something I dislike about this product, is that the container is heavy for me so I believe the detergent in pod form works better personally.

I washed multiple loads of laundry with Tide and was pleased that it did clean my clothes and left them smelling fresh. I then compared my white towels washed with Tide to my towels washed with another detergent and they looked and felt exactly the same. I do like Tide but with the result being the same as other less expensive detergents I'll stick with my less expensive detergent.

My parents used Tide when I was growing up, and I continued to use it when I moved out on my own. I love that it cleans my clothes so well and always leaves them smelling great. I have tried many other brands of laundry soap and detergent, but I always keep coming back to Tide. I use a lot more of the unscented ones now as dry skin gets worse, but I still love the fresh scent of Tide original. I will always recommend Tide in any shape and form.

My white clothes are whiter and brighter and all my laundry just seems cleaner and fresher. Tide is a step ahead of all of its competitors.

I have been a user of Tide for over 20 years, since I first started doing my own laundry in college, and have been completely satisfied...until now. It seems they have changed the formula for "Original" Tide (including Mountain Spring). The new formula smells absolutely HORRIBLE. It is a sickly sweet, heavily perfumed smell that I can not stand to be around, let alone wear clothes that were washed in the scent. I was able to find some bottles of the old formula in a local store (New formula cap says "6X Clean Even In Cold") (Old formula cap says "My Tide [cap] = 6 [cap]) and had to rewash all of my clothes in the old formula. If this formula is not changed back, once my old formula Tide is depleted, you will lose a customer for life. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. Please change it back.
