From the time that I ordered my grill I received it in 2 days and it took an hour to put it together. I've used it twice now and it has been very easy to use the app and grill controls. Overall a very simple grill to use and I look forward to using it more this summer.

I have used this pellet smoker numerous times since I bought it and I love it! I've smoked pork, beef, poultry, and seafood on it in the past week and I am more than happy with my purchase. Between the Bluetooth and the WiFi, a perfect cook is fool proof! I am also excited that my 12 year old son will never have to worry about buying a grill in his lifetime. He'll obviously get my hand me downs until I kick the bucket and it transfers to him. #generationalwealth

Loving this unit so far. I'm new to smokers so I'm having fun trying different stuff. No issues with the controls on the unit and the app is working well for me so far. Packaging was good and assembly straight forward. Instructions could have been a bit clearer, but thats a universal truth anymore. I do recommend (as do the Instructions) to have at least one helper for assembly as the top unit is a little heavy and awkward to get mounted solo. The rest is no big deal. Took an hour or so in front of the TV.

Smoked a handful of meats in this unit already and it has performed flawlessly. Everything is easy to use, easy to clean and easy to assemble. I would highly recommend using a vacuum for the ash removal, cleans it up in seconds. The app works great for monitoring the meats, I like how I can name the thermometers so I know what part of the meat they're stuck in. Highly recommend this smoker! 10/10

Love it. Easy assembly and a pleasure to cook on. I've had two Pit Boss upright smokers that would vary from the set temp by as much as 90° both ways even on a short cook like salmon or a pork tenderloin! This Z-Grill keeps the temperate right on the mark. No checking every thirty minutes to make sure your food isn't overcooking.

I have never cooked on a pellet grill before so this is my first one all I've done is initial firing to burn the oils off but plan to do some smoked baby back ribs this weekend very excited the grill was easy to assemble the only thing that I would ask is a little more communication After the purchase. I'm a nervous person when I buy things online and it took a long time to get it shipped, but I do understand you guys had a great sale and it's Christmas time but just a little more communication when you're spending as much money here's to hoping I get to use all next 10 grills

I am not that pleased with the grill i purchased strictly from the material and components themselves. I had to travel for work shortly after I received the grill so I have not had a chance to use it yet. When the parts were unpackaged, the cardboard that was wrapping some of the components was noticeably damaged while most of it was in great shape. the edges of one of the sides of the base, the main lid, and the lid for the hopper all had dents on them. The one on the main lid is right in the middle so it is very noticeable when looking at it. This is not something I would have purchased if seen in person at a store. Another problem with the lid is that the curvature of the lid does not match the curve of the grill sides. This leaves a fairly big gap, which you can see a good amount of daylight from one side to the next. I do not see a place to upload pictures for this review but I would like to be contacted by Z grills customer service regarding this.

The grill works well, not so much the wifi app. One of the primary reasons I bought this model was for the convenience of monitoring the grill over WiFi using their app. I'm not sure if it's the grill hardware that has issues or the app but sometimes I lose connection to the grill in the middle of using it and can't get it to function for the rest of the time I'm cooking. That's a big let down for me.

I bought this about a month ago. I wasn't planning on getting a pellet grill this large but couldn't pass up the price and i have the room so why not! This is my first pellet grill so i have a bit of learning curve, but its still just grilling. It came well packaged and pretty simple to assembly. During assembly is really easy to tell how well built this unit is. Three cooks in and everything to this point is running very well and tasting awesome. Time will tell how this unit holds up, but for now highly recommend it.

I have owned a Z Grill for several years but decided to buy the new 1000 D4E as my primary and have the other as a secondary. Wow! What a difference! While my older one is still a great smoker the new upgrades on the 1000 are really nice! Looking forward to many more of great smoked meals!
