Assembly was easy, put it together by myself. Used it twice so far, smoked two naked pork butts for tamales. Cold smoked (160F) them for 6 hours because the were still frozen after 3 days in the refrigerator. Dialed it up to 225F to get them to 160F. Finished in the oven. Decent smoke flavor. Having wifi control and temp probes makes managing a cook a breeze. Can't wait to get my next one in 5 years.

I have used this pellet smoker numerous times since I bought it and I love it! I've smoked pork, beef, poultry, and seafood on it in the past week and I am more than happy with my purchase. Between the Bluetooth and the WiFi, a perfect cook is fool proof! I am also excited that my 12 year old son will never have to worry about buying a grill in his lifetime. He'll obviously get my hand me downs until I kick the bucket and it transfers to him. #generationalwealth

From the time that I ordered my grill I received it in 2 days and it took an hour to put it together. I've used it twice now and it has been very easy to use the app and grill controls. Overall a very simple grill to use and I look forward to using it more this summer.

I have owned a Z Grill for several years but decided to buy the new 1000 D4E as my primary and have the other as a secondary. Wow! What a difference! While my older one is still a great smoker the new upgrades on the 1000 are really nice! Looking forward to many more of great smoked meals!

Love it. Easy assembly and a pleasure to cook on. I've had two Pit Boss upright smokers that would vary from the set temp by as much as 90° both ways even on a short cook like salmon or a pork tenderloin! This Z-Grill keeps the temperate right on the mark. No checking every thirty minutes to make sure your food isn't overcooking.

I used it for the first time on Christmas day and smoked a pre cooked spiral ham following directions from the internet. Everyone loved it. Since then I have also smoked a brisket, short ribs, and boneless, skinless chicken breasts, all following directions and recommendations from Z Grills or other sites. So delicious. My friend was jealous of my smoke ring. I have also used it to grill some marinated chicken by cranking it up to 425 degrees. Turned out just the way I wanted it to. I have been very impressed with its ease and effectiveness and am so glad I made the purchase. Looking forward to when I get the next one in 5 years. My boys can't wait for me to pass this one on to them when I get my next one.

I've been using a stand up 4 shelf smoker for 5 years. My new zgrill is like a night and day difference. So much easier to use. I've had it put together for a week now and wish I'd bought one years ago. Definitely happy with my purchase. It was also not horrible to put together.

The grill was delivered in 2 boxes. You need a little space to open boxes and lay out the parts. The directions cover all details, but some steps are easy to miss if not careful. Cooking is pretty easy, but just takes a little time to learn how to use the grill.

So far it's been great very easy to understand manual to put together, I did the burn off like the book said I also watched a video. I cooked for the first time last night, cooked some deer tendloin they turned out great, I'm still learning the grill and how it cooks. Thank you for having a great pellet grill this is my first ever pellet grill.

This would have 5 stars except for 2 reasons. One Sam's uses Estes Freight to ship. They're AWFUL. They don't follow directions, shipping the grill standing on end even though box is CLEARLY marked to NOT do this. But, they did and my grill arrived with sheet metal damage though it did not affect operation. Sadly though as well the control panel did not function (though I could still operate the grill with the app). Sam's was nice enough to send me another one, and AGAIN Estes Freight did not follow directions even after multiple phone calls. They also delivered on the wrong day, leaving it on my front porch in the rain! Thankfully the new one was not damaged and everything worked. Everything on this grill is quite generic. Nearly any control panel will work if you could not get one from Z Grill. Another reason I LOVE this thing. Because if I needed to I can put in any controller WIFI or not. On to the good stuff. This thing is built like a tank. VERY heavy and solid with thick walled steel, heavy powder coat finishes, very sturdy front shelf, extremely well designed oven chamber giving dead even cooking, no stack to deal with and no goofy hanging grease bucket. Absolutely LOVE the design. It cooks like a million bucks. Makes you into a magician. everything you put in it comes out deeeelish. Z Grill you need to up your customer service game A LOT!!!!!! Sam's you need to get better shipping!!!! Other than that, there is no better grill out there especially for the $$$$
