Smoked at 250 with oak for 2.5 hours. Wrapped in Foil with butter and a little brown sugar for another 2hrs. Unwrapped and lightly sauced with Asian BBQ sauce and some hot honey. Placed back on the smoker open boat style for 20 minutes. Let cool and cut. Grill worked very well and maintained heat within a couple of degrees and consumed a minimal amount of pellets.

I cooked some chicken today no problem. After starting the shutdown process my wife asked me to cook some bacon. I let the grill fully finish shutting down. I then restarted it and it appeared to fire back up. After a few minutes, it quit heating. I went through the shutdown process again and turned the grill completely off. cleaned the burner can (which had very little ash) and tried again....no fire. I'll completely clean it tomorrow and try again. If it doesn't work we have a warranty issue!

I love this grill. It cooks even and maintains temps excellently. The build took 30 min but did require assistance due to the weight. This is a good thing! I’m hoping in the future that ZGrills create a drip pan that can also allow for open flame searing with the unit. This is a spectacular smoker.

It was a learning experience since I have never used a smoker type grill before. The steps using the controller took a little while to figure out but we got there. So far I have done split chicken breast, heated a previously cooked ham, Salmon, and a pork loin. The pork loin was just OK but the others were really nice, the ham had a fantastic smoky flavor. Salmon coame out great as well, chicken breast ok but it was somewhat operator error.

I found the company to be of high standards and customer satisfaction, going above and beyond! The Grille i bought was the mega mama -MULTITASKER 11002B WITH WI-FI, Solid built, Heavy and heavy duty! This outdoors appliance, will serve many years of beyond satisfaction and delicious foods and meats. A great gift or just a well deserved outdoors smoker, cooker, and more. Thank You ZGrills.

I like the grill. It works well. I just don’t understand why super smoke mode can only be used at 160 degrees. Nothing is going to cook at 160. Also the app could use some major upgrades such as push notifications. Why have a timer when it doesn’t even alert you when it’s done? Other than those 2 things everything else is great. Very even cook and the temp rarely swings. I would recommend this grill to others.

First off the 1 leg is shorter then the rest 3 washers to even it out. Your super smoke option is a joke can only super smoke at 160 degrees. Your prime button does nothing but make a stupid beep sound. Last but not least (im sure I’ll find more things wrong) thing has ash floating around everywhere invest in better seals

PROS: Shipped quickly and packed EXTREMELY well. Easy assembly with 2 people, esp. w own phillips and socket/box wrenches Initial fire flawless. First cook of London Broil and Salmon went well. Love the large hopper and huge cooking areas. Very solidly built, with thick steel all around. CONS: Pellet Dump/Cleanout is more to the side than the bottom. You still need to vacuum out the extra pellets. If the dump was at the BOTTOM of the hopper, this wouldn't be a problem. Also, a power feed to spin the auger to deliver pellets would help speed startup and cleanup after shutdown. BIGGEST ISSUE: WiFi is TERRIBLE. Very hard to connect. I'm not a computer guy, so there was no simple fix that I could find. Had to make a 2nd account for my home mesh system limited to 2.4Ghz just to connect to Zgrill. Even then the temps were different between the app and grill readout. Not sure which to believe. Can't adjust temps from my phone app (but can shut down grill remotely - so Yay??). Maybe the grills card is bad? Will try a long smoke and see if that maintains temps and reports correctly, but not hopeful... SUMMARY: I owned a 550B and LOVED it, but upgraded to the 1000D4E for larger grill and mostly for the WiFi, but so far disappointed since WiFi isn't working well, and the app is USELESS. I'll keep cooking on it, but will likely rely on my own wireless thermometers to monitor temps for overnight smokes. PLEASE hire someone who can write a functional app, and UPDATE YOUR WIFI FIRMWARE SO THE TEMPS ARE ACCURATE!!!!

Delivery was great, assembly was relatively easy but took some time. I have used the smoker twice already with great success. I had trouble with connectivity to the WiFi on the 1st smoke but had a digital bluetooth thermometer. The second smoke I could connect and all was great. These were easier meats both taking about 2-3 hours. This is my first electric smoker and so far I am really am impressed.

Let me start by saying, I do like this grill. I have only smoked a stuffed pork loin and a brisket so far but it did both extremely well. The only complaints I have are, the lid sits a little crooked and isn't flush, a couple of welds on the lid are leaking some smoke, and one of the legs is shorter than the others. For how much this grill cost, I expected a little better quality control. If not for these issues it would be a solid 5 stars. The grill cooks very well.
