Been grilling with every weekend since receiving the grill. Definitely worth every penny. The negative is the shipping could be clearer. Didn't actually show the shipping for the grill itself. But it did arrive very fast. Just need better communication about what has shipped and where from.

Just getting started. Did the initial burn off, and then one smoke on some salmon and chicken! Was smooth sailing - all except the wifi. Can't get it to connect. Unfortunately it only works on 2.4G. I'll have to figure out a work around. But the the hopper and pellets and burn and clean up all went excellently! This is my first smoker so... I'm still learning but excited to move on to bigger and better and bolder smokes! Thanks ZGrills!

The grill assembly was fairly simple and burn in helped me get used to the controller. I like this grill because it lets me adjust the temperature in 5 degree increments. Wifi also works well and allows me to monitor and adjust temps from my phone. I have smoked ribs, steaks, boston butt and a whole chicken. Other smokers may produce more smoke but this grill lightly smokes meats which is the way I like it. Everything I have smoked has excellent flavor and is quite juicy. Would definitely recommend this smoker grill.

So far, so good. Have cooked Tri-Tip, Ribeyes, Chicken wings and thighs. All have turned out great. The ease of use and the ability to be stress-free, not around the grill is a huge plus especially when you have company over for the grill. Made the best decision going with the 1000d4e model. I would recommend to anyone. Can't wait for my replacement starting in five years (I'll hold you to it Z Grills! ;-)

Like so many, I am a 20+ year loyal to the “stick burning” smoker. But after downsizing, extensive research and wanting to get the “near same” result with less work and cleanup, I decided to give this pellet smoker a shot. I’ve only own it a short while but have smoke fish, pork, beef, chicken and veggies and I must say, I am very impressed with how well this pellet smoker cooks. I’m also using the 12” smoke tube which makes a huge difference. The build quality and even cooking is pretty impressive when compared to other pellet smokers in this price range. So far, I am happy with this purchase.

This was easy to assemble, sturdy, well designed. I have used it to prepare one meal and it was fantastic. My only complaint is that I'm still having trouble with wifi connectivity, even after trying every remedy recommended. That said, I don't care if the wifi works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only used my new Z once but, it was way more than I expected. I have been smoking, now at 54, for over 40 years. As a kid I was made to shovel coals as my uncle’s do what uncles do . I personally own 3 Master Built smokers, a Treager and 2 homemade bbq cookers. The instant heat coupled with the super smoke is exactly what I was looking for. I give my Z 5 stars

I've had a zgrill for a couple years, but when this none went on sale I couldn't resist the upgrade. It is huge! The wifi is nice, but very simple and not much control. Would be nicer if all the controls could be adjusted from the app. Did I say it's huge! Be sure you have room and it's nice to have 2 sets of hands for setup.

Installation was pretty straight forward. Pellets that cam with grill burn relatively clean with little clean up. I applied heavy duty foil to drip try and bottom of grill for easy clean up. I have now done a spatchcock turkey, burgers, and a prime rib. All of these were done in December with below freezing conditions. Holds temperature very well even in the cold weather. Everything has come out perfect and tasted great. The WIFI app was easy to install and setup was easy. No issues using my phone to set temps or shut off grill from phone. My only complaint is I wish the temperature probes that come with the grill could be set at temperatures below 160F. Medium rare items at 125-140F you just have to watch the probe temps but can't take advantage of the alert system within the app. Not a huge deal but would have been nice.
