Patio Grill
I received this grill and assembled it in about an hour. Helps to use a cordless drill. Only difficult part was attaching the handle to the top of the grill. Also the diagram doesn't show the wires are hidden under the front panel for use with the igniter. Fired it up and it worked great. Gets really hot quickly so don't leave your food on without oversight. Would recommend since the fold down side panels are a real plus and convenient. Wheels on the bottom are also a great benefit.

Disappointing Online Purchase
Purchased this grill online with my Plus membership and opted to have it delivered since this 2 burner model wasn't available in the club. The grill was finally delivered, but by only 1 person (despite its bulky, heavy weight) and subsequently dropped; causing 3 major pieces to be damaged beyond use. I'm still waiting on the replacement parts so I can finally put this thing together. What a HUGE disappointment! The last one I'll ever buy from Sam's Club.
Nice looking smaller grill
Purchased the red one and it is a nice looking smaller grill. Didn't find the assembly any more complex than other grills (about an hour+) and it helped to have a partner assist me. It had no problem getting up to and staying at 550 degrees on a 45 degree day. It's smaller, but it easily handled 8 qtr pound burgers with room to spare and 4 full buns on the warming rack. Also appears to cook consistently across the entire grilling surface. Now the issues: Many reviewers report it arrived dented and mine was no exception. There were a few paint chips and a very small ding on the cooking barrel where the lid meets it and, as widely reported, the door had a slight dent on the front. The supplier needs to reevaluate its packaging because the shipping box was in good shape. In all, I threw on some high temp paint where needed and the dented door isn't noticeable enough to go through the aggravation of trying to get it fixed. At sub $300, I believe the grill will work out great for me but I'd have hard time recommending it until they get their packaging issues under control.
Thank you for your feedback, Brewpaul. We're happy to hear about your overall satisfaction. Our team is aware of the shipment damages and is working on future improvements.
Excellent Grill
I finally put this together and the instructions were great. The quality of the materials and the The fit of the parts is superbnd, the quality is great and the instructions are easy to follow . The grill came with a cover wich is super nice. This grill should last a long time with one exception. The painted steel flame spreaders that go over the burners, if they were made of stainless steel this grill would last forever. The burners are a stainless steel aloy and should last a long time.
Did I get the wrong grates?
Seems to be a nice enough small grill. It took two of us almost 2 hours to assemble with the booklet, but not sure the 45 minutes the Bilt app claims is really possible! Most of all though, I extremely disappointed that the cast iron grates aren't porcelain coated as advertised on the box and display sticker!! Where I can trade these grates in for the porcelain coated ones! Also a bit disappointing that it doesn't come with a cover. I'll say recommend to a friend, but only with the stipulation the porcelain coated grates would come with it as advertised.
nice grill for the money.
With just my wife and I to grill for I wanted to get rid of my big grill for space savings and ease of use. This grill does that in spades. Read some reviews of grills being delivered with bent or dinged panels but mine was delivered in perfect condition. Some have also complained about assembly time. It took me about two hours but I was in no rush and just set up in the garage and had no issues. The assembly instructions are illustrated and easy to follow. It takes just a Phillips screwdriver to put it together but you will need pliers for just one screw/nut that holds the wiring clip. Also read where some folks had leaks with regulator, I had no such issues. Bottom line is that Sams stands behind its Membersmark brand and that made this a good buy. I would recommend and buy again knowing what I know now.
Dreadful
This grill was shipped to the house and was damaged when it arrived. Numerous parts were bent and/or missing their paint or powder coating. Better packaging material was needed for how closely all of the parts were packed inside the box. This grill is only worth buying for the sale price due to how cheaply it is made, and that is only if you get one that's not damaged. Depending on how you use it and where it is stored I believe you will be sending this grill to a landfill in 5 - 7 years. And the worst thing for me was Sam's would not refund the purchase price to my account, they would only give me a store credit. My recommendation is to spend a little more for something nicer.
Big Results in a Small Package
This grill is great! I was concerned that a two burner grill might have some hot and cold spots, but not so! Even heating on the cast iron grill surface. Quick heating and a wide range on the burner controls. I had limited space, so the small footprint is a real plus. We can easily put 12 burgers or 4 large rib eyes on the grill.

Three Strikes
The grill cover was packaged at the very top of the box under the taped flaps so that when the box was opened the cover was cut by the box opener. Sam's club was made aware of this and to this date no response. Also, upon unboxing I discovered damage to the front of the unit near the burner knobs. I contacted Sam's Club and agreed to a reduction in price of $80, however as I proceeded to assemble the grill I discovered one of the side shelves was also damaged (bent) which makes it difficult to raise and lower.

Very Nice Looking
I usually have nothing but good to say about Sam's products but not this time. I ordered this grill because it was on sale, it was exactly what I had been looking for, and I was eventually going to have to replace my old 12 year old Weber grill anyway. The assembly was pretty easy and it is a very nice looking grill. However, after assembly, I noticed the front door had two dents in it. Also, when testing it I discovered the electronic igniter would not work. I called Permasteel (warranty Co.) and after sending them a copy of receipt and pictures of the door, they agreed to replace the door and send a new igniter module. So, about a week and a half later, I get the parts and replace the igniter module. Once again, there was no spark. So I did what I should have done in the beginning and tested the igniter modules and both tested good. So that just leaves the wiring and/or the control knobs on the front panel. I asked Permasteel for advice and they said they would send the wiring. However, after thinking about it further, I am getting real leery about keeping this grill. I've have had it since the end of August and still haven't been able to use it. I wonder if the wiring is going to fix the problem since to determine that, I would have to remove the front panel, disassemble the control knobs to test the wires. This is getting to be a lot more work than I bargained for and I'm worried this may just be the start of problems to come. So, as much as I hate wasting all this time and effort, I'm loading it all in my SUV and returning it to Sam's for a refund. I think I've learned my lesson on which brand of grills to buy. I am giving it three stars only because it looks great, was easy to assemble, and because Permasteel's response to my problems was fantastic. A big shout out to them and Elizabeth for her support!
