I am very happy with this gym. I had no issues with delivery. Boxes arrived when expected and in good condition. It took me 9 hours over three days to put together by myself (58 yr female). No missing parts. It’s all illustration for install but if you follow the pictures carefully, take your time, you can figure it out ok. The gym itself has a lot of different exercises and I really enjoy using it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive (got on sale so this was an added bonus), good quality in home gym.

I had been keeping an eye on a couple of the Marcy Home Gym systems on the Sam's Club website. The one that I originally wanted sold out and was no longer available. When I noticed the price on this unit went down by 200 I said okay time to buy it. The freight company contacted me about delivery and each of the boxes were in good shape. I all by my lonesome started to unpack everything making note of each item on the enclosed documentation. Everything was accounted for and I started assembly, I took my time off and on for maybe three days. Everything on this unit works as it should and I am very happy with this product.

Couldn’t pass up this machine when it was on sale for $349 and free shipping. Very happy with it for the price! Assembly took at least 4 hours. No missing parts. Only one tool needed, a crescent wrench, as the Allen wrenches are included with the parts. Supplied directions are very easy to follow and the parts bags are very well labeled, but I’m mechanically inclined. I wouldn’t recommend a non-mechanically minded person to attempt this alone. I am 6’ 4” tall and have modified the machine to hold the middle cable attach point up away from my seated head position (the crunch cable). I’ll also modify the leg press upper pads to allow my long legs to fit better by raising them up. Full exercise examples do not come with the machine, but I was able to print good examples from the Marcy Pro blog site. Shipping from California to Michigan didn’t take very long. The driver helped me carry the three heavy boxes inside the house, much appreciated that. I’ll try to attach pictures of the completed machine and the part I added to hold the crunch cable up out of the way.

The bad, if you are 6 foot or taller this machine is too small for you. I am 5'11 and when I sit on the bench my head hits the mechanism for the chest press. When using the lat pull down I do not get a complete range of motion. I also have a hardtime fitting my knees behind the leg extension arm when I sit on the bench. Triceps/bicep curls do jot give a full range of motion due to the length of the cable. On bicep curls I can not even pull the bar completely to my chest before the cable reaches its maximum length. The good...it's a solidly built machine that is easy to assemble. Wide range of exercises that can be done. If you are shorter than me this is a great set to get you started.

No major complaints. Setup wasn’t that hard and instructions are not terrible if you pay attention. My complaints are 1. The beauty panel for the weights makes it difficult to get to the bottom plate ( I’m actually going to reverse the plates) 2. There’s not a lot of room for taller people do do presses Otherwise, so far I’m very happy with the machine

Haven't assembled my gym yet but wanted others to be aware of the actual cost of the "free shipping". Ordered the gym and was contacted by a shipping company to set up delivery. Established a date and 4 hour window for delivery. At no time did the company mention payment, either when setting the date or at the actual time of delivery. Weeks later I got a bill for $480 for the delivery of the gym from the shipping company. This is ridiculous since there were no other options when ordering online. I feel this is deceptive marketing and fraudulent billing on behalf of the shipping company Sam's Club contracts with.

It's a great machine for progressive overload. Easy to put together (took around 4 hours, mostly 1 person). Everything is labelled by step and part. So, take pieces out one step at a time to stay organized. Some of the base pieces were easier to put together with a friend. Fast to switch extensions to change exercises. Transitioning between activities definitely won't slow you down. I was honestly a little worried about that after some of the comments. I appreciate the attention to detail. For example, the wheels have special washers to reduce noise. Someone mentioned 17.5 being the lowest weight. Sadly, I can't do a 17.5 lb bicep curl, but since I have small hands, I figured out how to use apparatus for a double bicep curl and can hopefully gain the strength to do a single bicep at the lowest weight within a few weeks.

Purchased for my grandson (14) for Christmas. Instructions are a little overwhelming as they label every bolt and washer in the pictures. There is a you tube video from the company that is helpful to watch. Hardware is nicely packaged and labeled. Parts are not labeled. I took some extra time and labeled them all with a pad of post it notes. Made assembly much smoother. The pulley system requires concentration. i had to send everyone out of the room. Took me (63 yo female) about 6 hrs total over 2 days. Footprint is about 6' x 4' which is why i chose this unit. It doesn't take up his whole room. Amount of weight wont last him forever but all in all we are pleased with this unit.

Assembly is a challenge due to lack of detail in assembly instructions. In my case a when completed I’ve am now dealing with weights not rising when prompted by pulling on cable. This will require a tear down to gain access to area requiring attention. So even having spent six hours on assembly I’m still not completed.

I bought this today from Sam's Club. The Club Associates were too busy to help me load it. Another customer helped me get the very heavy box on a flatbed cart. I did Scan and Go. The Associate at the door just waived me out the door. When I got home I realized that i only had box one of three. I called the customer help desk they said there were supposed to be three box's, come back. The door check out person was supposed to check on that. I went back 10 miles, got box two and three. An associate counted the box's in the sales display. I was not the only customer to only take home box one of three. Yes, partially my fault, but.
