Hazardous for winter driving

These tires came with our 2019 Rav4 XSE and performed well on dry and wet roads. That all changed when winter set in; breaking distance on snow packed roads was terrible and down right dangerous. I talked to the dealer about changing tires and they said they couldn't do that. I have ordered a new set of tires from a different manufacturer, ones we have been using for years, to mitigate this problem. I have had Michelin tires in the past and have never experienced anything like this before. These are not all season tires.

Don't buy this tire

I've had these on my Lyriq for 14,000 miles and the center of each tire has no tread. The car has no grip on the road, even a dry road. I wouldn't dare try to drive in snow. So disappointing that there isn't another all-season brand that fits. I'm going to submit a warranty claim. Don't buy this tire!

2023 Ioniq 5 11k Miles. Had the foam come apart on one tire that created dangerous shaking when at 55+ mph. Michellin is telling the dealer that they won't cover replacement beyond 55% for one tire. Pretty unbelievable that they cannot even stand behind their product, so that should tell you if you need to look elsewhere or not.

Medioce Tire, Not Recommended for Snowy Climates

Tires came new on a '22 RAV4 AWD (Gas). Needed replaced at 46,000 miles (typical on PA roads that tires only last about 2/3 of their rated mileage. Tires drove okay, nothing great, nothing terrible. They were however not well suited for western PA winter snow season. Replaced with Kumho Crugen HT51's and the difference was night and day for snow traction. Those Kumho's were just now replaced at 59,000 miles (could have gone a bit longer, but alignment was out and wore down the tire edges severely). I'm now on to trying out the Crossmax CHTS-1 budget tires which are doing well on my in-laws vehicle.

AVOID PRIMACY MXM4 A/S -- horrible tires

I bought Primacy mxm4 earlier in DEc. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE -- AVOID THEM! They are LOUD, hard, very low rolling resistance which leads to a feeling of no/low performance, no grip, etc. I wapped them for Pilot Sport 4 all season, which is a ZR rated tire. Feel and preformance on those are better, but the Pilot Sport is LOUD, too - just not as loud as these utterly miserable Primacy mxm4. I am surprised that Michelin even offers these horrible tires. Not in any way like the wonderful Michelin tires of yesteryear, upon which the Company built its previously well-earned reputation

Horrible tire. Very Upsetting- should lasted longer

Very very dissatisfied that I have to put new tires on a 21 Ford bronco sport that only has 32,000 miles on it. I’m not mad at Ford at all as I am an employee lower models of bronco sports have continental tires on them that most forearms have said I’ve lasted way longer. I’m not the person that had the problem with the Outer Banks tire choice from the factory the Michelin primacy all season. Where markers are already showing and poor handling in the rain now moneys tight and I have to put tires on my car now not very happy.

Worst Tire Experience

These came on our new Tesla Model 3. Tires are the T0 variation. The handing in wet conditions is horrible and dry is mediocre. The fact the Tesla is putting these on cars is ridiculous. I would prefer ultra high performance tires and take the low milage than these tires. Also, we have only driven the car just over 8,000 miles and the tread depth is 4/32. If the first review I saw here also relates to this tires life at around 8,000 miles, there must be more. *This is my 18th vehicle, several high performance like AMG, with all sorts of tires.

Sidewall Blowouts After 2 years and 20K Miles.....

These awful tires came with my new 2022 Rav4 Hybrid. I had no tread problems but as others detail, after 20K miles and being 2 years old I had a front tire sidewall blowout on the highway. Upon inspection the other tires either had cuts or cracks in the sidewalls. Not only are they cheap but they're down right dangerous. It turned out to be a Godsend because the new tires handle soooo much better! I didn't realize how bad they handled and how noisy they were until I got the new ones!!! ** If you have these tires make sure that you inspect the sidewalls monthly**

Poor tread life, followed by blowout.

Very concerned with the number of blowouts reported here. My wife was driving in our neighborhood (just left the house) and had a blowout on front passenger side. Thankfully she was only going ~25mph and was able to limp the car back to the driveway. How does a Michelin tire blow out at 42K miles going ~25 mph? Tire pressure was set at 35lbs as required. I expected much more from the premium tire brand. Is there something defective with this tire?

MICHELIN® Acoustic Technology may be faulty

A section of the MICHELIN® Acoustic Technology came loose. Caused tires to be severely unbalanced at 50 to 60 mph. Hyundai dealership says they may or may not take responsibility but they have to see the tires in person. Unfortunately, that means 150 mile trip to the closest dealership, even though the local Michelin dealer first identified the problem. Problem started about 16k miles and caused me to pay balancing fees twice.

joeferal, we're sorry to read of this issue. It is not necessary to travel back to the Hyundai dealership if an authorized Michelin retailer is aware of the problem. A member of our team will be calling you to work with the local Michelin retailer on initiating a warranty claim.
