I apply Weed and Feed twice a year following the package instructions precisely. Apparently you need to apply it to wet grass, ie the foliage, for it to work properly. And it needs to stay there for awhile to work. (So apply before a bit of a dry spell.) If I get this on in time the lawn looks great and is low maintenance. If I mess up, I pay for it for the rest of that six month period. BONUS: apply just before your lawn is aerated. Even better.

I had used Scott products for years before hiring a professional lawn service. Not happy with their service, I decided to again do it myself. This year I have lots of clover. When I read the Turf Builder weed and feed bag, with 2x the effectiveness and guaranteed to kill dandelion and clover, I thought my problems were solved. It just didn't work. Some of the clover's leaf tips turned brown, but that's it. it turned green again. I was also disappointed with the greening effect. All directions were followed. I have an irrigation system so proper watering is done regularly.

I distributed this product on my Bahis lawn about a week and a half ago. I noticed weeds starting to die two days after application. The grass has some yellowing on the tips. I just recently have seen with watering and some rain. The grass is beginning to green up. It seems to have little effect on clover-type weeds. The fact the clover was not initially affected may call for a second application.

Bought this product month and half ago spread it to mainly kill the dandelions, and yeesh they basically grew into ginormous dandelions and quadrupled over the span of the month. Im sorry but this is 100% a rip off. I now have to call Tru green and pay them to fix this mess. Thanks!

Each year I use weed and feed (was plus2), halts, crabgrass,summer,winter and your best seeds. I was very disappointed this year because of excess clover, violets and other weeds. This past year the rains came and so did the weeds. Weed and feed nearly eliminated them with one application.

Bought this 15,000 square foot bag because the front of the bag clearly states "clears out dandelions & clover - guaranteed". Tried calling but didn't want to wait 30 minutes. The clover is flourishing and sprouting lovely white flowers. Why? Weeds are slowly dying. What's my guarantee regarding the clover issue? Please advise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As long as you follow the instructions as to how to apply, this weed and feed is really great controlling all kinds of weed in your lawn. One thing you need to understand is it’s not an overnight thing, it takes a few weeks for it to do the job so have faith it does work just takes time. Super easy to apply with a Scott’s spreader the only down part is it smells up your shop if you leave the bag open so put a zip time on the leftovers so it keeps the smell in the bag. Great stuff, I use it a lot and it always works great.

My grass has never looked better, we aerated over seeded and used Scotts Lawn Food in the Spring(great product) Then as the temperatures rose weds appeared. Used the Scotts Weed and Feed Turf Builder(follow directions; wet lawn before applying) Used a light application with lawn spreadr to be cautious. Result is BROWN dead grass and thriving weeds. DO NOT BUY This; it will destroy your lawn. Plan to stick with only the Scotts Lawn Food.
