[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As the temperature starts to warm up in Minnesota, and my neighbors unprotected yard starts to sprout dandelions and other unwelcome weeds, Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed is my savior. Because I use Scott's products to protect and nourish my yard, I have very few weeds. The weeds I do get, are wiped away with this product. The key to getting it to work well, is applying it in the morning while there is still dew on the grass or if it's dry, a quick run of the sprinklers to moisten the grass. Applying this with moist grass allows the granules to adhere to the weeds and they slowly start to shrivel up.

I’ve never write Walmart reviews but This stuff worked perfectly for my yard and saved me from redoing the entire thing. I could not be happier. I had to remove a few by hand with a weed puller but most of them dissolved into nothing. I used a hand crank feeder (not Scott’s brand just a random one) to apply to the hard. I followed directions to the letter and again it worked so well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put down the fertilizer the day it was delivered. Some well timed rain came and worked the fertilizer into the ground. We waited a short time and began to see the changes. The grass turned a deep green and became thick - and we also have no dandelions or other weeds in our lawn. We have to cut a little more often but it is well worth the looks of our lawn. We have had numerous comments on how nice our lawn looks and we always tell them about Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed.

I had used it for years with good results, but I had a fairly newly seeded lawn the last time I used it. Now I have to start over because it killed the entire lawn where I reseeded. Lesson learned. Wait till your lawn is more established.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This turf builder means business! It is very simple to apply. The application is quick. I has positive results and no new weeds within one weeks time. I like that it comes in a large bag. It is also lightweight and easy to handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used several bargain brands in the past but their effectiveness is alway marginal. It usually take several applications that one application of Scotts achieves. Just make sure the grass/weeds are damp during application so that the product sticks to the weeds. I only wish Scotts would replace 2,4D with a less toxic chemical. Wear gloves when applying and don't wear the same shoes into the house.

My house when we bought it last year had a lawn that I would say was a subpar lawn it had weeds ever where and just want a yard you could be proud of. After using this product a couple times my yard became clear and greener then ever. I won't use anything else but Scott's product to protect and take care of my lawn.

This is a question. I tried to find the contact link but couldn’t. We have the turf builder weed and feed. It won’t come through the spreader on any setting. The spreader works, but none of the product will fall through the hole. Plus, when I tried to distribute it by hand, it kept falling in clumps.

I purchased this product for the last 15 years and it has worked wonders for my lawn. Then I use Grubx once a year or more often if there are signs of grubs in late summer. I usually get a disease midsummer and red dust also. I have tried a disease control but it doesn’t always seem to help.
