Apply to a damp grass so product sticks to grass blades. Don’t water for 48 hours. Then water and watch weeds die and grass get green

Horrible. Had the best lawn before I put this down. I followed the directions precisely. I had a few dandelions and some clover in areas and all this did was turn the grass brown. Complete embarrassment and waste of money. It did not even kill a single weed. have no idea how this product has an overall rating so high at this point.

My lawn was great before I made the worst mistake to buy this to try and get rid of clover that was starting to grow and spread. I had over seeded and put down organic fertilizers early spring. I applied Scott’s, followed all directions, and ended up with burnt, and dead grass patches. Just see te before and after pictures. I have been watering early morning, hoping to bring the grass back to life. I have learned my lesson, stick to the organic fertilizer, avoid Scott’s.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is average. It's nothing fancy but it isn't junk either. The physical material itself is nice and small so its gets into all the little cracks and crevices while also allowing itself to be light enough to bind to the weeds. The fert part works well. The weed part is so-so. Generalized weed killers/weed control options are something I have never had great luck with. They take too long to act and never seem to be strong enough to take care of everything. So I still end up walking my yard and pulling the weeds manually. If there was a version that was more potent and did a better job at general weed control, I would be all over it but for now, I may just stick with regular fertilizer and my weeding tool.

From time to time in the earlier years i had tried other brands because the were a little cheaper, but i always caome back to scotts for the quality and results were superior to all other brand. I have lived in my house for over 40 years and have used scotts products all the time. I would not change for any other product sunce i always got the resuts from scotts products. Great job Scotts

EXCELLENT! Very effective for dandelions, clover, and thistle. I tend to put more on than recommended, which is risky, because you could burn your lawn, but it works great. Just make sure your dandelions and weeds are WET, so the granules stick to the leaves.

Bought this product month and half ago spread it to mainly kill the dandelions, and yeesh they basically grew into ginormous dandelions and quadrupled over the span of the month. Im sorry but this is 100% a rip off. I now have to call Tru green and pay them to fix this mess. Thanks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started seeing dandelions starting to grow in my yard. Within days I started seeing the dandelions die back and never bloom to my delight! Additionally the whole lawn greened up in days! Overall, I love the performance of this product.

You must have left these bags of lawn fertilizer out in the rain. Opened bag and product was so hard I had to use a chisel and hammer to chip it away, then press down with weight to get it granular. Great fertilizer, and have used it for years but...shame on you, Walmart for leaving it out in the rain at your store!! Squeeze the bag before purchasing, buyers beware!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put down the Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed about 6 weeks after using another Scotts fertilizer product. I also watered the yard a while before applying. The product was uniform and flowed through the spreader evenly. It was easy to see on the yard and appeared to be uniformly spread. A few weeds showed results in two to three days and the areas with thicker weeds started turning yellow and then reddish orange after 4 or 5 days. After ten days, all weeds I had bee watching were completely gone. I have used Scotts products for a number of years and have had very good success with them all.
