[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Truly a great product with great instructions. I truly have a brown thumb but Scotts Turf builder has been a life saver. We have been using Turf builder for a few years now and the lawn looks better than it ever had. My neighborhood is full of weeds and it's amazing to see that I have had a weed less lawn year after year. Keep it up Scotts!

This is the worst weed and feed I ever used. It is terrible for killing weeds. Yes, I do thoroughly wet the grass before applying. IT DOES NOT WIPE OUT CLOVER I live in eastern PA and I will never ever buy Scotts again. I have used it previously in the past with dismal results and was brainwashed that Scotts is the best......NEVER AGAIN

I've used this for several years on my St Augustine lawn with decent results. However, I don't know if this is a new warning or I just never saw it before: the bag says don't use on St Augustine lawns! Has anyone else used this successfully on St Augustine lawns?

I have a field to the right of me and a lawn next to me that is full of dandelions every spring. If any try creeping in my lawn after I use Scotts, then I will dig them up and leave them lay to show the rest of the dandelions that we mean business ;)

... is not doing before and after pics. I was frustrated with the clover overtaking our lawn and the “other” weed/fertilizers that didn’t work. I applied Scotts turf builder, watered and it delivered as advertised. Within days the clover turned brown and died while the grass beefed up. Our lawn is now lush and dark. I’ll be using Scotts forever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotts Weed and Feed is my favorite fir those times I want to fertilize my grass and control the weeds at the same time. With my Scotts drop spreader it is easy to apply to my front and rear lawn and does a great job

So I didn’t read the instructions and put down twice as much as recommended. It definitely caused some browning in my yard, but some of the sections of the yard on the house I just moved into were nothing but weeds. I was a little discouraged but didn’t reflect it upon Scott’s because I knew I’d put down 2-3 times too much without fully reading instructions and we didn’t get a ton of water. However, it’s been a month, and over the last 10 days we got a good bit of rain. I would say 85-90% of the weeds are gone, almost all of the browned spots are filled in, and my grass looks much, much thicker and greener than when I applied it. I was just talking to my wife about how I thought I screwed up our lawn and today it looks so good it doesn’t look like it could possible be the same lawn we moved into. I wouldn’t use much more it recommends. I’m likely very lucky but I wish I’d taken before and after photos for people considering this product in the future. I’ve talked to a lot of my neighbors whose lawns actually look good and all three recommended this product before I purchased.

I put this on my lawn when it was wet and it didn’t have rain for several days. So far all I did was feed the weeds. A weed with yellow flowers has spread all over my yard. It did kill some weeds. I won’t buy it again, it is to over priced for it not to work like it did. Very disappointed.

The weeds did not go away The graSS itself was somewhat greener. Finally paid a landscape guy to do it and the weeds disappeared and grass was green and weed free.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in an agricultural area and with chickens roaming, we had to be careful where we applied the Scotts Turf Builder Weed and Feed. The front of our house which was built in 1875 is heavily treed so we get more weeds than grass. My husband applied this product to an area of the lawn that was heavy with dandelions. We had heavy rain for almost a week straight and when it stopped, we were thrilled to see the weeds gone and long, thick, healthy green grass in it's place. Wow, this is an amazing product that we didn't consider due to the chickens. Well they are penned in and the rest of the lawn around the house looks just as good as the front. Thank you Scotts, for giving us a lawn to be proud of.
