He looked at my lawn where I use 'Turf Builder' - Spring & Fall. He hired a contractor to plow the entire front lawn, seeded it and used starter fertilizer. when new lawn came in, the disturbed soil brought up a lot of flower seed as well as weed seed. I recommended your Weed & Feed, in fact I bought it for him. Now his lawn is 90% weed free, green and lush and I have one very happy neighbor. HL Cerep

I had a bumper crop of weeds in my lawn and this product took care of the problem, It is very easy to apply with a spreader. You will notice results fairly quickly. I really trust Scott's products for my lawn.

I purchased a 40lb bag of Scotts Weed and Feed and spread it by hand myself and yes it does work well as far as fertalizing the lawn and smothering out the weeds. I did apply it heavier than the instructions on the bag. So I didn't have enough to do the front lawn but will purchase another bag and do the rest of the lawn that was missed earlier this year. Yes it worked very well for me. Very happy with the results. Salliejane

Best of the best. Does what it says it will do. I have been using Scott for years. EXCEPT one year and I regretted it. Yes Scott’s cost more but the value is in the results. (Buy a great spreader, Scott’s does not sell a great spreader. But a good hardware store will. Get REAL rubber tires too) But other than Scott’s poor spreaders their fertilizer is the best!!!

I bought this and applied this per the instructions and am disappointed overall. While the feed portion appears to be working, the weed control is fairly weak as the dandelions are sprouting already. I have used Scotts products religiously through the years but it might be time to try something different.

I decided to use Scotts Turf Builder Weed and Feed5 to get rid of the weeds and nurture my grass in the process. This formula is made up of WeedGrip Technology. It grips onto the weeds as well as the ones you can't see to eliminate them. It also helps to fertilize and thicken the grass, crowding out the weeds trying to grow. It can eliminate over 50 different lawn weeds. It was easy to apply with my Scotts Elite Lawn Spreader. Once I was finished, it took about a week before I saw the weeds dying. I like this product because it's a two-in-one product, it kills weeds and fertilizes my existing grass, plus it's quick and easy to apply. My grass looks so much greener since I have applied the Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed5.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Scotts turf builder weed and feed this year instead of paying a company. I used it in a scotts spreader per label. I would say that it did a good job. I just had to go back a spot treat a few weeds with a spray. The grass grew fast and along with the rain for a few weeks it helped.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of those products that seems to always be consistent. It works when you apply correctly. I always water it in sometimes over the years. I’ve gotten a few clumps in the bag that you can see when you’re pouring it into the spreader, but it’s an easy fix. I just smack it up with my hands while I’m wearing a pair of gloves.

This is the second year in a row that I used this product. Last year I used tte liquid version attached to my garden hose. With in 3 days my lawn was dead, burnt and brown. I thought that perhaps I used too much of it. This year I decided to go with the dry granules hoping for a better result. No such luck. I folloewd the instructions on the back of the bag and again I have burnt, brown, dead grass. However, instead of large patches I now have stripes. I paid good money to have the sod laid and twice Scott's Weed and Feed has destroyed it.
