The cheaper products just don't work very well or need double the application rate. Some weeds still need extra attention as I have not found anything to control low lying chickweed perfectly.

The competition doesn’t stand a chance in the weed prevention game, because Scott’s has the right formula to go after weeds. I would recommend waiting until it is consistently warm for a little while and right after cutting your lawn. This will make the product most effective. Also, make sure rain isn’t in the forecast for a few days to allow the product to adhere to the weeds.

Horrible. Had the best lawn before I put this down. I followed the directions precisely. I had a few dandelions and some clover in areas and all this did was turn the grass brown. Complete embarrassment and waste of money. It did not even kill a single weed. have no idea how this product has an overall rating so high at this point.

I’ve used this product twice now it’s amazing if you follow the directions correctly. It kills the weeds and really does prevent them from growing and spreading. I advise using it twice a year in the spring and the fall . When I applied the product in the fall of 2023 the weeds so far this year 2024 are very few .

After following directions my yard became a buffet for dollar weeds! They are having a good time feasting on the feed part of weed n feed! A 4000 sq ft bag at the price of last years 5000 sq ft bag. Water as directed; in my area, I had light rain which really helped with the product. So far, the new growth looks green and healthy!
