The product had several unbreakable lumps of the product also, There were small eggshell pieces reminiscent of plaster. Using a handheld spreader which kept jamming due to these small pieces. I noticed the granules when spraying included a lot of dust. I used the product several days ago the clover is not dying and is growing as a well-fertilized plant should grow. Not happy with the product and will switch brands in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product. I used it as directed. A couple of days after application, the broadleaf weeds started to wither and turn yellow. The grass is growing faster also. I will use it again in the future!

This product is quite hit or miss. Last season I used as directed two times on my lawn. I was impressed with how quickly and actively the weeds withered. It should be said I applied in mid March in Oklahoma. This year I did the same thing. It’s been about 10 days now and I have not a single withered weed. Perhaps I got a bad bag or something, but I may just end up switching to a different product in a few weeks.

I purchased this Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed 3 for my lawn and for my mothers lawn which is in a nearby town (same soil and climate conditions). On both lawns, I applied the product EXACTLY as instructed and I even went out and got a Scott's spreader which I calibrated per instructions to insure the precise application amount. My yard is about 23,000 sq.ft. and my mom's about 18,000. It has now been 2 weeks, and I swear BOTH LAWNS have MORE DANDELIONS and CLOVER than they did to start. The violets or whatever the small purple flowered weed also seems to be proliferating. I think the weeds are asking for more, it was delicious! My lawn actually has more weeds than either neighbor on either side, neither of whom treated their lawns in any way. Since I can not reapply (instructions say only 2 times per year Spring and Fall) this is a COLOSSAL waist of pretty big money.

It is truly embarrasing for me to say that in 2014 I decided to try a "bargain" brand weed and feed to save a little money. Yes, my lawn was still green, but the deep, vinrant green appearance was not up to par and the weeds were out of control. I went back to Scotts Weed & Feed in 2015 and my lawn returned to yhe ency of the neighborhood. My experiment prived that all Weed & Feeds are NOT THE SAME. Have you ever tried getting pelletized granuals to stick to the leaf of a weed even when the leaf is wet? If you choose a bargain brand... It is a waste of time and money! While nearly every competitors brand of weed and feed pellets bounce off thd leaf and fall to the ground...the Scotts pruducts are finely granulated which allows them to adhere to the leaf and perform the job they were hired to do! There has never been a better example of "you get what you pay for" in my life than Scotts Weed & Feed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Turf Builder Plus II works very well to control those early spring weeds like dandelions and crab grass. However if one over applies it, it can burn your lawn out. I have a Scotts Accugreen 3000 broadcast spreader, you would think with the spteader being a Scotts product you would think the setting for this spreader would be on the bag, but it wasn't. And as I recall, (now I could be wrong on this) but as I remember I could not find the setting for this spreader on the Scott's website for Turfbuilder I I.

Applied the weed and feed turf builder at 8am so there was dew on the grass and the granules adhered to the clover leaves. Two weeks later the cover is taller and growing faster than the grass. It does work on dandelions but not much else. For the last 3 years of using Scott's Turf Builder I also needed to use Weed B Gone to get rid of clover and English daisies. Scott's Weed and feed turf builder is false advertising.

From time to time in the earlier years i had tried other brands because the were a little cheaper, but i always caome back to scotts for the quality and results were superior to all other brand. I have lived in my house for over 40 years and have used scotts products all the time. I would not change for any other product sunce i always got the resuts from scotts products. Great job Scotts
