I have used other Weed and Feed products without a problem, but applied this bag with a Scotts rotary spreader according to the directions. It did not eliminate any of the weeds, but instead killed streaks of good grass. I checked the spreader and it is working as it should. Not sure what the problem was with this bag, but now will have to reseed areas of the lawn.

Save your money and give it to a professional lawn care service. If you have a stubborn dandelion or other major broadleaf weed situation, this is not going to cure your problem. It's mostly just the nitrogen that works and so it will feed existing weeds as well as the grass.

I've applied the weed and feed a couple of days ago and haven't noticed much, which is why I put the review at "average" for now. I am wondering when I can allow my pets to go back out on the lawn after application. I saw somewhere in the reviews that I need to wait at least two days to mow the lawn so am thinking maybe pets are around the same time period as the first 48 hours are the most effective. If anyone has any info on this it would be appreciated.

I applied product in April and then had a very dry May and June in PA. Very minimal weeds and no clover. I don't know when the last time my yard had been treated since I purchased the house, but have been impressed by performance in harsh conditions. Will be applying when it cools down again, and next spring. Good results following my first application.

Pet safe which is a bonus because you feel like you are not harming any animals. You need to apply when you actively have weeds invading your healthy grass. Spreads easily with a proper seed spreader. I am excited to see my lawn after a few applications.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this product according to instructions on package. Lawn never looked better. by mid summer, I had a full, lush green grass yard with no burns, or bare spots. thick grass and compliments from neighbors.

I usually have bad experiences with lawn care products. Expecting failure I saved my receipt because of the satisfaction warranty. I had a lot of dandelions and clover as well as many other unidentified weeds that were sadly creeping into my yard. I applied exactly as the direction described allowing the lawn to be wet prior to applying. I did not mow the lawn immediately before but rather applied it about three days after mowing. 2 mows later I have almost zero weeds. I applied a liquid concentrate mix using a tank sprayer to the small amount of weeds that remained and my yard is now almost weed free. Other notes. I applied in early June prior to extreme heat.

The only issue I ran into was it did not manage to kill the thistle that is taking over part of my lawn. I will have to look for another product, or perhaps put down another application of the weed and feed. Time will tell.
