[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn't be happier with the Scotts Turf Builder Weed and Feed. Our yard was riddled with weeds, especially dandelions. Now, as you can see from the pictures are yard is green, healthy, and weed free!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotts Weed and Feed is my favorite fir those times I want to fertilize my grass and control the weeds at the same time. With my Scotts drop spreader it is easy to apply to my front and rear lawn and does a great job

I bought this product and applied at the indicated time, conditions, rates. My yard had few weeds and yard was green. The little bit of clover and the few dandelions that were there were eliminated. I was expecting this product to kill weeds below the surface that have since then now emerged... no clover or dandelions, but plenty of other weeds. I will now have to spray treat to eliminate the weeds. I have had the same type of issue with summer gaurd with insect control....insects must like to eat this product as bug damage has surfaced and damaged the yard. Again, additional treatment needed. Grub control has been effective. I think it is because it is used as a stand alone lawn product. I have lost confidence in the combo products.

I build homes for a large volume home builder in the West. Over the last twenty years I have personally handled thousands (no fib) of homes from dirt to completion. I use Scotts product on my personal property nearly exclusively. I share this with the bulk of my interested homeowners and neighbors. I see there are reviews of these fertilizers where people have not achieved their desired results. I too have had failures in my own yard that I wanted to ascribe to the products I have applied, only to find out that it was my application method that was the culprit. Fertilizers are not a miracle cure for otherwise poor yard management practices. Care, time, recognition, consistency. I know that when I apply a Scotts product, per the directions on the bag, three days later I can see it's working and a week later it has done exactly what I thought it would. This "weed and feed" has been no exception.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far the best lawn weed and feed. Nothing else comes close to the best fertilizer on the market today. Easy to apply and the results speak for themselves. If you want a great lawn you need this every Spring. No question give this a try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product is found to work better when it stays on 72 hours instead of the recommend 24 hours. The product should also work better if it was a lot more finer so as to stick to the weed leafs to kill them. The current product falls off the leafs even when their wet and then product doesn't work as well. Also this product needs to also be engineered a little better to not put a strain on the grass and not to kill it

I have used Scotts fertilizers and weed control products for over 25 years and NEVER ran short using the recommended setting for my spreader. With this new product, I ran 25% short. It is difficult to apply to a dew-wet lawn, as it ends up all over the spreader and sometimes jams open the chute. Perhaps when the chute jammed, the product was over-applied in some areas, leaving me without any product for the remaining areas.

The product does remove weeds from the yard. Just make sure you put it down when the grass is wet. Something needs to be done though about the clumping. The bag was purchased 3 days ago from a home improvement center and when I opened it, the contents were all clumped up. I had to constantly stop and break up the clumps and if a small clump gets in the discharge hole of the Scotts broadcast spreader that I use, I have to stop and clear it out.

Although temperatures and rain quantity haven't been ideal the weeds, especially the the pesky yellow flowers are starting to show some withering.. Expect it to take another week to see complete success.
