I applied Scotts weed & feed one time on my lawn last spring which was totally infested with weeds and dandelions. This spring there's a noticeable difference. Very few weeds and dandelions and the grass looks healthier. I did aerate first, a few days before applying. Will be applying again this spring and fall. It's kind of hard to find the right weather in the pacific north west to apply it more than a few times a year. I'm not big on using chemicals but the lawn needed help!

The LAZYMANS way -- You don't have to water your Lawn! Just wait until It rains and then do it the following day ! Or Really? Most anytime in the Spring ( it always rains ave 2x a Week here In Wi) And Fall! Let the Snow water it in and Kills the Roots of weeds, best time to Kill Creeping Charlie too ! When Got our Old House , Lawn was full of Dandeleins and Creeping Charlie -10,000 Sq Ft 30 Lb Bag of Scotts Plus 2 right away that Late Spring, right After a 1/2" Rain.. and 2 wks later Added Grass Seed once a Month while mowing the lawn.. and let Mother Nature Water it ! -Carry a Hand Spade ( back pocket) to dig out Weeds while Mowing Lawn -Pop them up and over into the Next Path of Mowing the Lawn.. -2x time, Spread it on come Fall , over Halloween( after Frost) -Did this for 1st 2 yrs -Then Only ONCE a Yr In the FALL ever since ( been 10 yrs now) FYI- You will need to Add Crabgrass Treatment if have that and for Heavy Creeping Charlie? Seperaete 2-4 D dracambia ( Or Weed -B-Gone) , to kill that , done in Spring and Fall ( yes, 2x a Year ..) and Do your neighbors Yard if they won't! I Have and now They Mow my Lawn 2x a yr in return while were on Vacation! ( It cost $25-$30 to hire someone to mow lawns on average..vs $10-$15 to treat ave Lawn with Weed & Feed) and using Scotts new Spreader? ( Cost $25 at Our Wal Mart) Its very easy and you need the Exercise too! ( ACTUALLY, THE WIFE DOES IT!-While I go Play Golf !- B4 that had the Kids Do it , until became Teens with Attitudes) Now Kids are Grown up? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied the Scott’s Turf Builder Weed and Feed a few weeks ago to my lawn. The package directions were very easy to understand and the spreading was consistent and covered the area as described. After a rainy week, the grass greened up considerably and noticeably. Even had a neighbor comment. As for the weeds, I’m still waiting on the clover to be eradicated but the dandelions are shriveling. So far I am pleased with the product and would recommend.

I bought and spread this a month ago. First time using a fertilizer on my well established lawn that has been struggling for years and was more clover and dandelions than grass. I was a skeptic and wasn't sure if I could trust the results of this product. So I only spread it over half my lawn. As seen by the photos my lawn on one side is deep green and the other side lacking in color, height and full of weeds. The side of my house was nothing but a dandelion playing field. This product killed them all. I am hoping with a fall spreading and use of this product for the next few years and season my lawn will be back to its former glory.

Applied this product to our lawn which was overrun with dandelions. Made sure to follow directions exactly. No cutting grass before or after, no rain a few days after, made sure the temperature was high enough, lightly watered the yard before applying. Not a single weed was killed! We had more weeds after 1 week than when we applied. After 3 weeks went and got Spectacide which we attached to the house and sprayed the lawn. I'd say about 75% of our weeds are gone now. I can't recommend scotts weed and feed. Useless and EXPENSIVE.

I put this on my Lawn and then in a month put it on again and I still have clover in my yard, I have used Scott's products on my lawns for around 40 years and its always worked great, but turf builder weed and feed didn't do that job and hardly even greened up the lawn, like I said still fighting clover. its not near as good as it has been in years past.

late this spring I followed the package instructions to the letter. I applied the product to my lawn with zero results.= I waited the month as instructed and applied it again. I experienced the same zero results. I have used Scott's products for 30 years. This time the results were awful. I used to use the old Scott's Plus 2 every spring with wonderful results. The new product is terrible.

I had a few patches of dandelions throughout my yard along with some other weeds that I wanted to get rid of. I bought a bag of weed and feed along with a good spreader and followed the instructions to a T. After about a week now and a couple of rains, none of the weeds or dandelions have vacated the premisis. It appears that they have actually gotten a bit worse. Unfortunately I threw away the receipt so I will have to figure out how to hold them to their guarantee another way.
