[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely saw results the first time I used it. I purposely used a hand rotary applicator over a portion of my yard that was inundated with weeds. The difference between the circular pattern where the product was applied and not applied was like night and day. Made a believer out of me and everyone else I showed the "experiment".

... is not doing before and after pics. I was frustrated with the clover overtaking our lawn and the “other” weed/fertilizers that didn’t work. I applied Scotts turf builder, watered and it delivered as advertised. Within days the clover turned brown and died while the grass beefed up. Our lawn is now lush and dark. I’ll be using Scotts forever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy to use, on the back of the bag tells what setting to put your spreader on so that takes the guess work out of it. I applied when the grass was still a little wet from a spring shower so the granuals stick better. It works pretty fast and is effective on a lot of weeds but also makes your grass greener and thicker. Dont use if its too windy. My yard is looking good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using scott products for niegh on 35 years and I wont get any thing else for this is the only product that works against weeds and it feeds my lawn to make it the best looking and most healthiest in our whole nieghbourhood.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have previously used several different brands of weed and feed products, but always return to using the Scott's brand because it's the only one that works to my satisfaction! A person may try other brands in order to save a little on the purchase price, but I've learned that you get what you pay for. If an inferior product doesn't do the job satisfactorily, then what have you saved? For my money, it'll be Scott's every time!

I spread this on my St Augustine grass one month ago. I would have loved if the front of this product label clearly states what types grass this can and cannot be applied to. Unfortunately, it only states it in one small section on the back. I have killed my grass, and to add insult to injury, the weeds seem to still be going strong. I'm giving this one star due to bad marketing/advertising, and the fact that it doesn't even stop the weeds.

I purchased a 5000 sq foot bag, it wasn't enough. So early in the morning part of my lawn was fertilized. I went back for a second bag but wasn't able to apply it until late afternoon, early evening. Low and behold with a 10% chance of rain- it rained. The part done in the early AM looks great- thick and green. The weeds in this area are dying slowly. The other half of my lawn, not so much. I realize this is likely due to user error of course. So now I have questions. 1) Can I reapply to the second half of the lawn? 2) We also have crab grass- the back of the back does not list crabgrass- so what do I do now? 3) Being a good neighbor- I covered my neighbors rose bushes, etc to make certain nothing got on them, they are 100+ years old- if it is calm is it necessary to go to that length? 4) How soon after application can areas be reseeded or sod laid? This information was not on the bag. This is my first time growing a lawn- I can grow anything- except for grass where I want it.

I have used Scotts products many years before, I am not new at this! but for the last 2 years it has been a total disaster. Has the formula changed? I used weed and feed and followed directions to the teeth. My weed is healthy and growing, my grass looks dead.
