I would give it zero stars if I could. I used Scotts Turf Bldr Weed & Feed. It did not kill any weeds and it also turned my grass yellow, killing some of it. Followed directions to the "T" and now have to pay a service to repair my lawn. Never again!

This is the second year in a row that I used this product. Last year I used tte liquid version attached to my garden hose. With in 3 days my lawn was dead, burnt and brown. I thought that perhaps I used too much of it. This year I decided to go with the dry granules hoping for a better result. No such luck. I folloewd the instructions on the back of the bag and again I have burnt, brown, dead grass. However, instead of large patches I now have stripes. I paid good money to have the sod laid and twice Scott's Weed and Feed has destroyed it.

Reliably kills most common lawn weeds and gives a real boost to the desirable grasses. Use in the Spring, and you will quickly notice the change in grass color, thickness, and growth rate.

I don't know if this falls on Scotts or the big orange box store but this was the worst experience I've ever had with spreading any granular product, the whole bag was just giant clumps. I'm still a big fan of Scotts though but keep an eye on quality control!

I applied product in April and then had a very dry May and June in PA. Very minimal weeds and no clover. I don't know when the last time my yard had been treated since I purchased the house, but have been impressed by performance in harsh conditions. Will be applying when it cools down again, and next spring. Good results following my first application.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works Very Quick. I applied to an area that was loaded with dandelions, clover and creeping Charlie. After 4 days all weeds were showing signs of distress and beginning to die off. Hoping that this continues because clover and creeping Charlie are difficult to kill off. The product is designed to stick to the plants and was very efficient to apply with my rotary spreader.

We are keeping the weeds at bay for now but my neighbors like to farm dandelions so time will tell if this helps to crowd them out. Over applied in a few spots and grass turned brown, so be very careful with application.

Living in TN, my soil is very poor. This year I've got a lot of white clover so I figured I'd give the Scotts Weed & Feed a try. I applied it just after noon time and we got rain the evening. I didn't have enough to cover my entire lawn, but the next day around noon, the clover in the areas I used the Weed & Feed lost it's bright white color and was turning gray. The following day, the flowers were brown, and on the third day, there was NO visible clover flowers! This stuff is fantastic! Bob

My lawn is the envy of the entire neighborhood. People stop by to compliment and ask what lawn service i use... lol. I tell them MINE.. and Nothing but SCOTTS turf builder products.
