I bought and applied the Scotts Weed and Feed (15000 sq ft) about a month back . I applied it based on the instructions listed on the package. I have been very disappointed with the results. I have weeds all over my lawn. How can I remove and recover from the weeds without killing the grass ? I am attaching 4 pictures and can provide more. Thanks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Weed and Feed will not totally eliminate your weeds from view even after they've been deadened off. You must clear all weeds and dandelions from your lawn first. Then apply Weed and Feed to your lawn. By all means, water it! This will help the health of your lawn to over power weeds from returning. There may be some residual weeds that may appear after the rains, but by staying on top of your lawn, you may feed your lawn once in between storms to help your lawn's immunity to weeds. Used Scotts fertilizers for decades. Over the last few years I noticed a lack of quality that I was hoping was just a bad batch....no....I don't know what happened ...If they have new management or just employees that have no clue, but their products are more then just substandard...Two applications of weed and feed and the only results were wilted dandelions. The clover had taken over my lawn. I wish I had saved my receipts. Very VERY disappointed.

Within days, the luscious green was dulled and now there are brown patches throughout the lawn. Some weeds are shriveled, many are unaffected.

As Scotts Weed and Feed kills weeds, it thickens lawns thereby crowding out weeds. I have found that Scotts Weed and Feed takes about 10-14 days to kill the weeds. Then for the next 4-5 weeks it feeds my lawn making it green and lush.

Three days ago I had a beautiful green and lush lawn that I work on very hard to keep looking that way. On Wednesday, I put Scotts Turf Builder weed and feed. I followed the directions perfectly. I actually read them twice to be sure I was following directions. Today, Friday April 19, 2019, I have a lawn that is turning brown and dying. I am beyond upset and frustrated!!! Never again will I use Scotts products. Can someone please give advice to rectify the situation?

I've found that it's actually a little more effective if you bump up your spreader setting by a half--it hasn't harmed or burned my lawn at all. Thankfully only had a handful of weeds and they are all already dying off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use all of Scott's turf builders during the season and have good results except with the turf builder plus 2. The lawn greens up but the killing of the weeds is not really great. I find that when I use liquid weed killer it works much better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this product before and it has always worked for me. It is super easy to spread, especially if you have a push spreader. I put it on when the grass is damp with dew or, like I did this weekend, the morning after a day of rain. This is something I will continue to use.

I greatly found the newer 12,000 weed n feed product is effectiveness started immediately, left it on 24 hours then watered in as recommended. I see it takes time for denser growth clover to react. The product applies much easier & sticks to the weeds is improved.
