I purchased a 5000 sq foot bag, it wasn't enough. So early in the morning part of my lawn was fertilized. I went back for a second bag but wasn't able to apply it until late afternoon, early evening. Low and behold with a 10% chance of rain- it rained. The part done in the early AM looks great- thick and green. The weeds in this area are dying slowly. The other half of my lawn, not so much. I realize this is likely due to user error of course. So now I have questions. 1) Can I reapply to the second half of the lawn? 2) We also have crab grass- the back of the back does not list crabgrass- so what do I do now? 3) Being a good neighbor- I covered my neighbors rose bushes, etc to make certain nothing got on them, they are 100+ years old- if it is calm is it necessary to go to that length? 4) How soon after application can areas be reseeded or sod laid? This information was not on the bag. This is my first time growing a lawn- I can grow anything- except for grass where I want it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use Scott's 4 step program now so i do not normally now need to use the weed and feed however in the past and in particularly bad weed years i use it.I never,never have dandelions and rarely have crabgrass.When i do get some i use this product to clean it up.

I purchased this product for the last 15 years and it has worked wonders for my lawn. Then I use Grubx once a year or more often if there are signs of grubs in late summer. I usually get a disease midsummer and red dust also. I have tried a disease control but it doesn’t always seem to help.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The scotts turf builder weed and feed 3 is awesome....although I am a man I do read the instructions on how and when to apply it and when to water it in......its work great every time do it per the instructions....used it in the mid west for 15 years and now using it in north texas for the last year and 7 months You get the best when you buy a scott's product , hands down for sure.......I never get the cheap stuff and more

The product is more expensive than Scott’s Bonus S weed and feed. But in my opinion less effective in getting rid of clover. My neighbor used Bonus S weed and feed and it killed all the clover in her yard. This product says Guaranteed to kill dandelions and clover. I don’t know how to inform Scott’s that it did not kill clover .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotts Turf Weed & Feed is a high quality lawn seed that thickens your lawn and rids it of the evil weeds. Pet safe which is a bonus because you feel like you are not harming any animals. You need to apply when you actively have weeds invading your healthy grass. Spreads easily with a proper seed spreader. I am excited to see my lawn after a few applications.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seed is coming in very nice! We have a thick green lawn already this spring with no thin or bare spots. Our Son is getting a lot of compliments from the neighbors on how nice he has the lawn looking and he’s happy about that. This seed is looking great with the over seeding of the whole yard as well as a few bare spots that were patched up.

One week after putting down using Scott's spreader and it appears to have done more damage than good. Grass has now browned and appears dying. Very disappointed, I have used other Scott's products in past which worked okay but definitely will not recommend this stuff again.
