Applied this a month ago. It did kill the dandelions but my yard is still full of clover. Im not sure this stuff even made the clover flinch. And the package says clears out dandelions and CLOVER guaranteed. Im usually all about the Scotts stuff but this weed and feed really let me down. And now Im worried about putting something else down since it says not to apply it more than twice a year and I need to get the grass over seeded soon before its too hot. Major disappointment from Scotts weed and feed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Scott's Turf Builder Weed and Feed is exactly what my lawn needed. It got rid of the weeds and fed my lawn at the same time. My lawn has so many dandelions in it, that they were taking over my grass. I just put it in my spreader and it was so quick and easy. I am glad I tried this. I recommend this Scott's Turf Builder Weed and Feed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the cheaper "store" brand fertilizers with limited to no effect on the crop of dandelions in my yard, I decided to give Scotts a shot. Yes it's a bit pricier but over the course of time, your yard will be green from grass instead of yellow from dandelions. Do I still have dandelions; yes. Are those dandelions extremely limited, yes but I have seen the benefit of purchasing a better quality product; definitely worth every penny!

I applied this product exactly as required by your directions on a wet lawn. After about a week my lawn developed brown spots not only where weeds were present but also on previously good grass areas. Also I notice dead areas where the spreader wheels tracked the lawn. The product seems to kill the clover ok but not so much the dandelions. What should I do to bring the dead areas in the lawn back to life. Please respond.

Bought 1 bag for 7400sq ft. Was over run by clovers and various other none desirables. Withered and killed all dandelions and completely destroyed click grass. Only took about 8 days for dandelions to go. Grass is MUCH more lush and green. Will definitely buy the winter formula as well.

I have used other Weed and Feed products without a problem, but applied this bag with a Scotts rotary spreader according to the directions. It did not eliminate any of the weeds, but instead killed streaks of good grass. I checked the spreader and it is working as it should. Not sure what the problem was with this bag, but now will have to reseed areas of the lawn.

I imagine most of the negative reviews are because of FAILURE to carefully read and follow the instructions…. Especially regarding pending precipitation in the forecast and APPLY THE WEED AND FEED PRODUCT ONTO WET GRASS. I cut my grass 2 settings shorter the day before. TURN OFF MY SPRINKLER SYSTEM AFTER I water the lawn the NEXT morning. I then apply the weed and feed double checking there is NO RAIN in the forecast For the next 24 hours…. AGAIN MAKING SURE MY SPRINKLER SYSTEM WONT COME ON THE NEXT DAY! My lawn is a lush green carpet and I won’t trust any other product for it than Scott’s.
