[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just as expected from very Scotts' product I have purchased over 50 years, Scotts' Weed & Feed, did as expected! My lawn greened up beautifully and I have no more weeds! Be sure to follow the directions when applying.

I do not agree with all the negative reviews here. I have been using Scotts fertilizers for 40 years and when used properly they work great. Maintaining a weed free healthy green lawn is a battle every single year. The most important thing is water. You cannot let your lawn to completely burn out. During drought periods you must water just enough to keep it in a healthy dormant stage. It can take 2 to 4 years to establish a healthy lawn. You need to give your lawn a lot of time and care to keep it looking good. Weeds are the master of growth and the battle to stay weed free will be ongoing.

Applied it late March just as weeds were starting to come up. Did nothing. In fact had more dandelions in my lawn than ever before. Thought maybe I had applied it too soon so bought another bag and applied it again late April... Still no affect. finally just had to go buy some dandelion spray. Weird thing is last year I applied it once and it seemed to work. This year it didn't work at all. Almost like they had changed the formula or have a ton that they forgot to put the weed killer in the mix... Something. Totally wasted my money... Twice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product is found to work better when it stays on 72 hours instead of the recommend 24 hours. The product should also work better if it was a lot more finer so as to stick to the weed leafs to kill them. The current product falls off the leafs even when their wet and then product doesn't work as well. Also this product needs to also be engineered a little better to not put a strain on the grass and not to kill it

I use Scotts on occasion, only because it is widely available. However, I'm not really impressed with most of their products. I put the Turf Builder down this spring because their crabgrass preventer has never worked for me. The weed and feed has done a better job, especially with the feed. The weed part is somewhat lacking, and I don't have a lot of weeds in my yard. For the price, this product should work better than it does. In the 90's, I used to put Miracle Grow weed and feed granules on my lawn and it never looked better. I had complete strangers stopping by wanting to know what I was using on my lawn. Unfortunately, they discontinued the granules and went to liquid only, which IMO doesn't work, so I'm always looking for other brands to improve my lawn.

I bought and applied the Scotts Weed and Feed (15000 sq ft) about a month back . I applied it based on the instructions listed on the package. I have been very disappointed with the results. I have weeds all over my lawn. How can I remove and recover from the weeds without killing the grass ? I am attaching 4 pictures and can provide more. Thanks

My grass is not greening up, but my weeds sure are! I have more dandelions now then when fist applied. Now areas of my lawn are producing clover as well. I have followed the instructions and have applied 2 feedings to my lawn. Very disappointing Scotts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product for a well established lawn. But it needs to be applied during the correct times of the year. And it's affect is greatly determined by the weather. Lawn needs to be well watered before application, and No watering or rain 24 hrs. after you apply. Sounds great until the forecast is wrong and we end up getting 4" of rain over night. My whole investment went down the drain!

What's really great is that I have all the confidence in the world that this is clearly the best product on the market. It does what Scotts says it will do with little or no work on my part. I recommend this fertilizer to every homeowner with a lawn that has a lot or even a few weeds. When you are done you will see that it works.

I followed the directions by having the lawn damp when I applied (6 bags...I have a large lawn) to my surprise and disappointment the clover was NOT gone or even slightly killed, it GREW! It is VERY disappointing to spend hundreds of dollars on this product and not have it work!
