Used it on my Bermudagrass. The lawn is dead .

I used it on my Bermuda grass as instructed . I used Scott mini drop spreader with setting 3 1\2 . Within a week the whole grass is brown and dead . This is not lack of water because the soil is still moist . It cant be more eater even because its 100 F out here in Bakersfield . The whole grass is dead and only left is few spotted spurges weed which seems to be not effected by this . Even the Soil PH is around 7 so its not acidic .

Best Thing for Dandelions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the cheaper "store" brand fertilizers with limited to no effect on the crop of dandelions in my yard, I decided to give Scotts a shot. Yes it's a bit pricier but over the course of time, your yard will be green from grass instead of yellow from dandelions. Do I still have dandelions; yes. Are those dandelions extremely limited, yes but I have seen the benefit of purchasing a better quality product; definitely worth every penny!

Great results beautiful lawn

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use Turf Builder Weed and Feed for my first application then I use Turf Builder for follow up feedings. My lawn was green and weed free which was great because the neighbors on either side had yellow lawns the weeds were so thick. We recently moved and I can't wait to get started on making our new lawn as good as my last one. It will take a couple of years but with regular feedings some patching and seeding I know it will be green and thick in no time. Feed It.

Money grubbing versus costomer satisfaction

This is the first time using a weed and feed spreader, and Scott's is apparently ONLY interested in selling more product verses making instructions easy to locate. 30 minutes in, there are still no instructiins to be found regarding the correct spreader setting. I will be taking back the over $200.00 worth of Scott's products I purchased yesterday to get my lawn and garden into shape, and won't ever be purchasing Scott's products again. Seems like Scott's goal should be costomer satisfaction versus the exclusive goal of selling more product to line the companies pockets.

Long Time User Disappointed

I have used Scotts products for many years and have been very happy. This year I used the Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed as I always have. After three weeks, the weeds are not any different at best. Normally, my yard is one of the better ones in the neighborhood. People will ask what I do to get and keep it in such good shape. I explain I just put together a Scotts annual program. So, many others have started doing the same. I know my next store neighbor is one of them, and they are also seeing nearly no results. I have Bermuda grass, and as you can see, the grass has not yet come in. However, the weeds have.

We're sorry to read about your disappointment with Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed 3 and appreciate your feedback. For best results, weeds should be wet with dew or light watering when applied and then not again for 24 hours to help product stick to the weed leaves so that it can be absorbed. Weeds should be actively growing, and temperatures should be consistently between 60℉ and 90℉. Depending on temperature conditions, weeds can take 2-4 weeks to completely die. We want you to be confident in our products. For this reason, we offer a product guarantee to our consumers. At your earliest convenience, please reach out to us at 888-270-3714 if we can further assist.

Jury is still out, but it's looking pretty good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was dubious about this product at first, primarily because I generally use a sprayer to put down herbicide, so utilizing granules was a new thing for me. But I placed it down liberally in a patch of my garden with weeds and can see a noticeable amount of weeds gone, and my flowers are still blooming

Learned my lesson real FAST!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will never buy anything but Scotts brand products ever again. I own several income properties and I thought I would save some money by buying a "cheaper store brand" product of weed and feed. Boy was I sorry! The weeds just "laughed" and kept right on growing. NOTHING but Scotts products for my properties from now on out. There is no comparison to the results!

We're sorry to hear about your disappointment. Two out of the three weeds you've mentioned are hard to control. Clover is a common perennial weed found in lawns throughout the United States. The most common type of clover established in lawns is white clover. It is very tolerant of a wide range of soil types. White clover spreads by creeping with above ground stems or stolons. White Clover reproduces by seeds or stolons. The seeds of white clover are kidney shaped and very hard, which allow for extended dormancy. The seeds can survive for 20 years or more in the soil. The seed of the white clover can germinate at different times throughout the summer whenever cool, moist conditions exist. The other way this weed can spread is through stolons, which grow at a rate of 18 cm. per year. The flowers of white clover will die off and the foliage will decompose. The stolons will remain until the following spring when they produce new shoots. The best way to manage clover is with regular feeding and proper mowing http://tinyurl.com/zmx8993. This will encourage a dense turf and make it difficult for clover to become established. Chickweed is a low-spreading winter annual or perennial weed with a weak, shallow root system. This weed sprouts in the fall, making fall the best time to control it. The prostrate (flat) stems often root at the nodes. Its spreading growth covers adjacent turf and seriously impedes turf growth. Chickweed often forms extensive, dense patches. Chickweed thrives in cool, moist areas. Growing conditions can be made less favorable by lightening the soil or otherwise improving drainage, especially in shady areas. Heavy, constant shade should be lightened as well where possible. Shaded areas should be planted with turfgrass species which do well in the shade and which will provide maximum competition to weed species which invade shady areas. Aeration of the soil will also help in your weed battle. http://tinyurl.com/nekvycs We hope you've found this information helpful. We want you to be confident in our products. I made a difference!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What you want from a product is for it to perform as advertised. In this case the Scotts Turf Builder with Weed and Feed did exactly as it was advertised. Easy to apply and I saw the results shortly thereafter. I recommend this product.

Does what it's supposed to do!

I applied this product last year but not until late spring. Many of the weeds were in full bloom. It took quite awhile to kill the weeds, but by the end of summer everything looked so much better. This spring I noticed that areas where weeds were previously present had no evidence of weeds. It did such a great job, I bought more for this year. Now just waiting for temperatures to warm up so I can apply again.
