Best of the best. Does what it says it will do. I have been using Scott for years. EXCEPT one year and I regretted it. Yes Scott’s cost more but the value is in the results. (Buy a great spreader, Scott’s does not sell a great spreader. But a good hardware store will. Get REAL rubber tires too) But other than Scott’s poor spreaders their fertilizer is the best!!!

Followed directions to the nth degree...weve had lots of rain here in Northern Virginia so moisture is not an issue. Within 5 days - my beautiful lush green lawn started showing signs of death...after 15 days -- brown and the weeds are proliferating. DO NOT USE!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have some bare spots in our yard that have been very hard to build any grass up in them. This grass seed is very easy to apply. We had some dry weather here ans struggled at first but we have been successful with this grass seed in getting some to grow finally.

Save your money and give it to a professional lawn care service. If you have a stubborn dandelion or other major broadleaf weed situation, this is not going to cure your problem. It's mostly just the nitrogen that works and so it will feed existing weeds as well as the grass.

I applied it with a spreader as was on the package directions. With just one day's applications I am not able to see the results yet. I will add to this review in a few weeks.

Used Scotts fertilizers for decades. Over the last few years I noticed a lack of quality that I was hoping was just a bad batch....no....I don't know what happened ...If they have new management or just employees that have no clue, but their products are more then just substandard...Two applications of weed and feed and the only results were wilted dandelions. The clover had taken over my lawn. I wish I had saved my receipts. Very VERY disappointed.

Bought this several weeks ago, and applied to a wet lawn, as directed, with broadcast spreader set at proper setting. Didn't rain for 24 hours. Dandelions started to curl up and die. 7-10 days later, my LAWN turned brown and started to die! I checked online & determined the best course of action was to water my lawn every morning, to the point of runoff, for a week! Tough to do on well water! Now, I have dead grass, and clover is coming up in strips, all over the place! This stuff is horrible! My lawn went from great to garbage in just 10 day's time. Check before and after photos.

I have been using weed and feed for a number of years and always have great results, Last year we had almost no rain all summer and into the fall just after I applied. It actually drizzled on me when I applied it but that was the last of it. The grass and just about everything else shriveled and died it was brown all summer. Luthier year the lawn that I usually have to treat is actually looking better than it normally would this time of year. I also like to treat it because it also takes care of ants and fleas. My only question is if his year I have chickens that free range. How long do I need to keep them away from the treated area?
