[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] scotts, is the only product i use. my lawn is the most beautiful one in the whole town. nobody really takes care of there lawn. i use to do landscaping, for many years, and i know what a very nice lawn looks like, and i try to do my best on that project. i also love flowers, and when spring comes around, you can find me outside doing all types of landscaping. you should make your yard as pretty as you can get it.. i get a lot of people telling me how everything looks.. that makes me very happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Weed and Feed will not totally eliminate your weeds from view even after they've been deadened off. You must clear all weeds and dandelions from your lawn first. Then apply Weed and Feed to your lawn. By all means, water it! This will help the health of your lawn to over power weeds from returning. There may be some residual weeds that may appear after the rains, but by staying on top of your lawn, you may feed your lawn once in between storms to help your lawn's immunity to weeds. I hope that helps...

My lawn hasn't been touched aside from mowing in probably 10 years, maybe longer (I've only owned it for 2 of those years). I've finally gotten around to tending to my yard/weeds, and I have zero experience with fertilizers, eradicating weeds, or having a nice lawn in general. I followed the directions on the bag to a T, and had fantastic results. Dandelions have withered away. Clovers and stickers too. However, I am curious if Scott's has a product I can use to assist me in eradicating crab grass and dallisgrass? I've read I need something with quinclorac in it. I've found products by other manufacturers but I would like to remain loyal to Scott's considering the excellent weed and feed results. Also, how long should I wait to apply an herbicide/quinclorac to my lawn after applying Scott's Weed and Feed? Does the suggested 30 day's apply to this as well? Thanks Central Arkansas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as the ground was 50 degrees I began applying Scotts Weed and Feed. I applied it every 6 weeks until the wedding in late July. Wow it made such a difference. Weeds gone, grass green and soft, even the areas where I'd had trouble in the past greened up a bit. Used a drop spreader and it was pretty easy to see where I'd been for the most part.

I bought this product and applied last week. Used a Scott’s spreader and set the setting as prescribed. Within 24 hours the lawn started to burn up and turn brown. I have had prior spotty luck with Scott’s fertilizers but not in this case. Running water on the lawn to save what I have left. Historically, I used Scott’s with the fear of burning. I thought they changed the formula to stop the burning. This will be the last time I trust Scott’s with my lawn. Back to the non burning organic fertilizers for me. How do I get my money back?

I have used this product in the past, but I have a pretty good thick and healthy lawn, so usually just spot kill any weeds that I see during the season ... Last year, I read your instructions because I thought I'd go with the Weed & Feed ... It says to apply to a wet lawn for best results ... My opinion = BIG mistake ... It clogged my Scott's spreader, it got all over my shoes; a total mess to clean up ... Just a word to the wise; if you use it don't apply to a wet lawn, and you'll still get good results, just maybe not the "best" ... AND your cleanup will be a breeze, like it should be. I think Scotts should think seriously about this and come up with something better ...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My lawn was looking sad and brownish. I used Scotts Turf builder to make my grass thicker and more lush. A few weeks after i applied the first application. I noticed that my lawn was looking much more healthier then it had previously. The grass was more vibrant and i actually enjoy looking at it after a fresh cut. My lawn is back to its beautiful self.

Make sure the temprature doesnt get close to 90 degrees at any time of the following days, or it will dusroy your grass. The one thing it doesnt discuss how white car, white planter boxes and light color pool cool decking, becomes a Solar Deathray when the sun is added to the mix.
