I don't know if this falls on Scotts or the big orange box store but this was the worst experience I've ever had with spreading any granular product, the whole bag was just giant clumps. I'm still a big fan of Scotts though but keep an eye on quality control!

I will still have a few pop up here and there after the treatment, however I easily spot treat those. You can really tell the difference before and after. It is a little bit more expensive than some alternatives.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolute Best Product a available. Every time i use this i know i will not have any weeds to worry about in my lawn. My lawn is the envy of the entire neighborhood. People stop by to compliment and ask what lawn service i use... lol. I tell them MINE.. and Nothing but SCOTTS turf builder products.

So I didn’t read the instructions and put down twice as much as recommended. It definitely caused some browning in my yard, but some of the sections of the yard on the house I just moved into were nothing but weeds. I was a little discouraged but didn’t reflect it upon Scott’s because I knew I’d put down 2-3 times too much without fully reading instructions and we didn’t get a ton of water. However, it’s been a month, and over the last 10 days we got a good bit of rain. I would say 85-90% of the weeds are gone, almost all of the browned spots are filled in, and my grass looks much, much thicker and greener than when I applied it. I was just talking to my wife about how I thought I screwed up our lawn and today it looks so good it doesn’t look like it could possible be the same lawn we moved into. I wouldn’t use much more it recommends. I’m likely very lucky but I wish I’d taken before and after photos for people considering this product in the future. I’ve talked to a lot of my neighbors whose lawns actually look good and all three recommended this product before I purchased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff gets the job done - it feeds your grass while getting rid of unwanted weeds. Just be sure to follow the directions closely - it does require you apply while your yard is ‘wet’ so the granules can adhere. With that in mind, it can be messy. Wear proper foot ware, pants, etc.

Very pleased with the results as expected. Applied the product Memorial Day with excellent results. Now that Labor Day is approaching I'm ready to put it to work once again. I'm confident that by next Spring/Summer I'm expecting a 98% weed free lawn. Very happy with the product. Follow the directions and you will see positive results. I'm mowing grass now as opposed to mowing weeds. Hey, maybe next year I'll be the lawn of the month which our town gives out to homeowners.
