I used this particular fertilizer in the late Spring or early summer to give the turf an added boost and to control weeds through the upcoming summer months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this product for years and it does not disappoint. It kills the weeds and the lawn is greener and healthier. Have to be careful not to get too much on the lawn in any spot because it will burn/kill the grass.

After following directions my yard became a buffet for dollar weeds! They are having a good time feasting on the feed part of weed n feed! A 4000 sq ft bag at the price of last years 5000 sq ft bag. Need not respond with the automated reply to a negative review! Only automation I need is automatic refund!

I've used Scotts along with other competing "weed and feed" products over the years. All do a great job greening up your lawn. However, most fall short of doing what they advertise on the package. Scotts Turf Builder does not "clear out" clover or completely clear out dandelions. It does little to nothing on clover and I need to actually manually sprinkle heavy doses of the product on growing dandelions for it to be effective. For clover, the most effective solution for me is Tenacity from a pump backpack sprayer 1tsp per gallon sprayed 3 times over the course of two weeks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been buying Scotts turf builder weed and feed 3 for many years. The last bag I put on my turf burned my turf. I think this was a bad batch, maybe not made correctly? My turf is slow to recover from this bad batch. Maybe a bad day at the factory where this was produced.

Horrible. Had the best lawn before I put this down. I followed the directions precisely. I had a few dandelions and some clover in areas and all this did was turn the grass brown. Complete embarrassment and waste of money. It did not even kill a single weed. have no idea how this product has an overall rating so high at this point.

I purchased Weed n Feed a few months ago. I applied as per the instructions with a "drop" spreader. Within 1 week most weeds were gone and the grass was greener and thicker then ever! I still need to apply again to clear all the weeds from my lawn but will continue with this product! There are some weeds like creeping charlie that i had to purchase special herbacide but i never took care of my lawn and expected this. I strongly reccommend Weed n Feed!
