I applied this product, as directed, to my whole lawn last year, 2016. Three days later, yes, you read that right, THREE DAYS LATER, every leaf had fallen off my full grown Bradford pear tree. Not only did this product kill my tree, but it didn't kill patches of clover. Luckily, it did not harm my shrubs or roses. I waited until this spring, in hopes that it might come back, before having it removed. The twigs and branches just snapped off! It was quite sad, as this was the only shade I had in my front yard. Immediately after the leaves fell, I sent in a copy of receipt and barcode, and the company did refund the cost of the product. I also told them that if the tree didn't pull out of the damage, that I would be contacting them this spring, which I did. At first the company seemed concerned and wanted to work with me on the cost of removing the dead tree and replacing with a new tree. Upon receiving copies of my costs to remove the dead tree and stump, and estimates for replacing the tree, they immediately started balking and refused to pay for ANY removal/replacement costs. Save your trees and leave this product on the shelf!

I applied it with a spreader as was on the package directions. With just one day's applications I am not able to see the results yet. I will add to this review in a few weeks.

My lawn is about 1650 sqft. Sprinkled water for 30 min. Applied 1 bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed with the Scotts® Turf Builder® Edgeguard® Mini Broadcast Spreader following the instructions. It has been 6 days, nothing really happened ! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this product for 20 years and using a drop spreader behind my lawn tractor, year end and year out I allways have a lush green yard and with no weeds and no yellow flowers! My fathers yard has a lot more clay content with quite a few poor grass areas that seemed were allways bare. He tried many liquid grass/soil treatments but these all falied. I brought up my spreader and a few large bags of Scotts' Turf Builder with "halts" and a few weeks later his lawn was healthy and lush and it was never that dark green and his lawn became the envy of that neighborhood just the same as mine every year!

I used to consider Scotts to be the gold standard. The last two seasons have only nailed my minimal dandelion population and parts of my clover. Seems to have juiced the chickweed plants though and since its been 8 weeks not sure what I can do as they you can only use twice a year, presumably spring and fall. Sad really..

I purchased Weed n Feed a few months ago. I applied as per the instructions with a "drop" spreader. Within 1 week most weeds were gone and the grass was greener and thicker then ever! I still need to apply again to clear all the weeds from my lawn but will continue with this product! There are some weeds like creeping charlie that i had to purchase special herbacide but i never took care of my lawn and expected this. I strongly reccommend Weed n Feed!

I used the product a week ago yesterday, either it’s way too early to tell if it has worked or it just has not worked, weeds are still prevalent and the grass has not gotten fuller. The first application of the year was amazing and it did an awesome job, the jury is still out on this type.
