I am applying this product for the second time this season. Last time was 2 months ago. My last application was two days ago. I have not seen any difference in the amount of weeds I see. How long does it take to be effective? A photograph is attached. The white dots on the leaves are the weed and feed. How long do I wait? Do I need to water? Very anxious.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scott's Turf Builder Weed and Feed works great to kill weeds in your lawn and gives nutrients to make your lawn grow and become greener. It also spreads easier as the granular are smaller and disperse better than other brand fertilizer. I have been using this along with other Scott's product for over 20 years and they greatly improve my lawn. I constantly receive compliments on my lawn which I feel is made possible by me using this and other Scott's products.

Applied product twice this year, early spring and again in late spring/ early summer. Used a push spreader at the recommended setting, no rain fall post application. First application did a solid job at killing the dandelions, however its been more than a month since my second application and the clover is still growing strong in my yard. Three stars as it only helped with half of my weed problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use Scott's 4 step program now so i do not normally now need to use the weed and feed however in the past and in particularly bad weed years i use it.I never,never have dandelions and rarely have crabgrass.When i do get some i use this product to clean it up.

I followed the directions by having the lawn damp when I applied (6 bags...I have a large lawn) to my surprise and disappointment the clover was NOT gone or even slightly killed, it GREW! It is VERY disappointing to spend hundreds of dollars on this product and not have it work!

I used Scott’s Weed and Feed on May 2 after it had been raining for a few days. Decided to take a picture so I could watch the progression of it working in my lawn. As you can see the lawn was mostly weeds. At first I didn’t think it was working too well because after a week the weeds still dominated my lawn. Now it is almost a month later and my lawn is looking a lot nicer with more grass than weeds. There are a few spots in the lawn where I think the Weed and Feed did not stick to the leaves very well so I will probably apply a second time once the 30 day wait is over, but I am definitely happy with the product and it was a much cheaper alternative than hiring a fertilizer company. I am going to apply it to my back yard (which is in even worse condition than the front) later this week since I just mowed and I will update my review based on the results I see back there.

Have always been pretty satisfied with Scott’s products until the last two years. I have been using weed and feed hoping it will kill the dandelions in my yard... applied last week and temperatures have been 70-80! Absolutely worthless! Might have killed 1/4 of them but for the money you pay for the square footage and the job it does... buy something else!! Never thought I would be going away from Scott’s product but I won’t be buying this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Turf Builder Weed and Feed for years. Our lawn not only is weed free but it is thick and green. I have tried other brands and have always come back to Scotts because of its reliability and performance.

I have been using this product the last 5 years following the instructions. I live in central california and trouble with clove and crabgrass. The first year I used this product I was happy with the results but the last 2 years I have used this product It doenst seem to work very well. I used in April and still have crabgrass and clove. It did feed the grass making in green but doesnt seem to work as well against weeds like it use to.

In addition to applying it in the early summer, I use it as a "spot" weed killer during the Spring, Summer Fall seasons. The simple instructions are very easy to follow. Within a day or two after applying Weed & Feed, it's effects on the weeds are visible. In approximately 1 week the weeds are gone. I recommend Weed & Feed to all of my neighbors and friends.
