You must have left these bags of lawn fertilizer out in the rain. Opened bag and product was so hard I had to use a chisel and hammer to chip it away, then press down with weight to get it granular. Great fertilizer, and have used it for years but...shame on you, Walmart for leaving it out in the rain at your store!! Squeeze the bag before purchasing, buyers beware!

I bought this product a few weeks ago and applied after a light rain and after the first mowing as directed. It worked on a couple larger weeds that I watched shrivel up in a couple days. However those weeds are now making a come back, the clover is not killed off, and my yard is made up of 50% dandelions currently. I do not believe this product worked well at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Turf Builder Plus II works very well to control those early spring weeds like dandelions and crab grass. However if one over applies it, it can burn your lawn out. I have a Scotts Accugreen 3000 broadcast spreader, you would think with the spteader being a Scotts product you would think the setting for this spreader would be on the bag, but it wasn't. And as I recall, (now I could be wrong on this) but as I remember I could not find the setting for this spreader on the Scott's website for Turfbuilder I I.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like the ease of this stuff but do prefer the liquid of this product a bit more. It does spread easily and dissolves fairly quickly. I feel doesnt kill clover as well though, which has become and issue this year for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied the Scott’s Turf Builder Weed and Feed a few weeks ago to my lawn. The package directions were very easy to understand and the spreading was consistent and covered the area as described. After a rainy week, the grass greened up considerably and noticeably. Even had a neighbor comment. As for the weeds, I’m still waiting on the clover to be eradicated but the dandelions are shriveling. So far I am pleased with the product and would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I just applied this produce just two weeks ago the lawn has reached its glorious green and soft fluffy texture awakening growth after what was a small amount of spring time dews and showers . I don’t believe in ever watering a lawn. I classify It as a waste of a precious environmental resource. A resource that is valuable and not really renewable . The product as all of Scott’s grandulars was easy to apply via my old reliable edge guard spreader. The results are an even stripe free bright green with consistent growth over the entire lawn . The winter and spring weeds , since this is also a weed control product are disappearing. The only problem we have with the product is now we have to mow more, often twice a week .

This is a question. I tried to find the contact link but couldn’t. We have the turf builder weed and feed. It won’t come through the spreader on any setting. The spreader works, but none of the product will fall through the hole. Plus, when I tried to distribute it by hand, it kept falling in clumps.
