[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we moved into our house a few years back the prior residence didn't take care of the lawn. We really had our work cut out for us. Our lawn looked more like a field of wildflowers than a lawn. With the help of Scotts weed & feed we now have the best looking lushest green lawn in the development. Better than our neighbor that just had sod rolled out 2years ago and the other who has a lawn service visit regularly. It really controlled dandelions and helps the lawn grow while maintaining it even in the hottest summers. We use several Scott's & Miracle Grow products and would recommend them all. Their app on iOs is great and makes it really easy to use the products too!!

This is the second year in a row that I used this product. Last year I used tte liquid version attached to my garden hose. With in 3 days my lawn was dead, burnt and brown. I thought that perhaps I used too much of it. This year I decided to go with the dry granules hoping for a better result. No such luck. I folloewd the instructions on the back of the bag and again I have burnt, brown, dead grass. However, instead of large patches I now have stripes. I paid good money to have the sod laid and twice Scott's Weed and Feed has destroyed it.

This is the first time using a weed and feed spreader, and Scott's is apparently ONLY interested in selling more product verses making instructions easy to locate. 30 minutes in, there are still no instructiins to be found regarding the correct spreader setting. I will be taking back the over $200.00 worth of Scott's products I purchased yesterday to get my lawn and garden into shape, and won't ever be purchasing Scott's products again. Seems like Scott's goal should be costomer satisfaction versus the exclusive goal of selling more product to line the companies pockets.

Put down two 43 pound bags on 32,000 sq ft of the Scotts weed and feed. After 4 weeks and 5 mowings still have clusters of dandelions all over that are flowering. I even put down Scotts winterizer last fall. I have used Scotts for years living their turf builder but those yellow bags translate to flowering dandelions. Located in north east Indiana. Put down second week of April with Scotts Lawm Pro sprrader.

Applied product twice this year, early spring and again in late spring/ early summer. Used a push spreader at the recommended setting, no rain fall post application. First application did a solid job at killing the dandelions, however its been more than a month since my second application and the clover is still growing strong in my yard. Three stars as it only helped with half of my weed problem.

Used it in my lawn. It did kill some of my dandelions but missed most. Also didnt kill any other weeds. The dandelions it did kill turned into puffs which are just going to reseed on my lawn. And my lawn doesnt look any better. Waste of money. Do not buy this product.

THIS stuff is EXPENSIVE AND DOES NOT WORK. I'm TIRED of wasting my money on NAME BRAND products and it doesn't produce the results that it says. The instructions evidently are not how it should be applied. I will NOT be purchasing SCOTT'S anymore. As someone stated, the bag sizes have gone down and I'm adding the products effectiveness must have also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this product forever and it does the job of preventing weeds and providing nutrition for my lawn. The weed killing agent works promptly on established weeds while the fertilizer is a slow time release product to prevent fast growth and thatch. It costs a bit more than competitions products but they do stand behind their product.

When conditions were right I had a healthy amount of dandelion's and a couple patches of clover in the yard. Within just a couple days of applying the Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed they were noticeably wilting and the grass was deep green and looking great, This product works very very well and all I had to do was follow the directions.

I decided to use Scotts Turf Builder Weed and Feed5 to get rid of the weeds and nurture my grass in the process. This formula is made up of WeedGrip Technology. It grips onto the weeds as well as the ones you can't see to eliminate them. It also helps to fertilize and thicken the grass, crowding out the weeds trying to grow. It can eliminate over 50 different lawn weeds. It was easy to apply with my Scotts Elite Lawn Spreader. Once I was finished, it took about a week before I saw the weeds dying. I like this product because it's a two-in-one product, it kills weeds and fertilizes my existing grass, plus it's quick and easy to apply. My grass looks so much greener since I have applied the Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed5.
