My lawn was great before I made the worst mistake to buy this to try and get rid of clover that was starting to grow and spread. I had over seeded and put down organic fertilizers early spring. I applied Scott’s, followed all directions, and ended up with burnt, and dead grass patches. Just see te before and after pictures. I have been watering early morning, hoping to bring the grass back to life. I have learned my lesson, stick to the organic fertilizer, avoid Scott’s.

It’s already greener and the weeds are diminishing. It’s a fresh application so I look forward to seeing it continue to do its thing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Weed and Feed works best when wetting the lawn first. It took a few days but the weeds got the message and started abating. Lawn is weed free and greener than ever. Be careful when you stop your spreader. If you see excess fertilizer in one spot , make sure to brush or rake the area to disperse the excess. I ended up with a couple of small burn spots by not following my own advice.

Make sure to follow the directions closely. The clover and dandelions wilted the day after use. Proud Scotts lawn!

I have used the Scotts Weed and Feed product as well the spray on. The dandelions are gone. The grass is green. However ther is one weed that appears to love the treatments. Only a few seen a few years ago. Now they seem to grow ecponentionaly. I see the same weed on a review from Mrs. A four days ago. Enclosed is my photo of the weed. I just mowed and saw how bad the weed problem is. Purchased more Scotts Weed and feed and not sure I should apply. Any thoughts on the weed and a treatment?

The cheaper products just don't work very well or need double the application rate. Some weeds still need extra attention as I have not found anything to control low lying chickweed perfectly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use Weed & Feed virtually all year to kill a variety of weeds which appear in my lawn. In addition to applying it in the early summer, I use it as a "spot" weed killer during the Spring, Summer Fall seasons. The simple instructions are very easy to follow. Within a day or two after applying Weed & Feed, it's effects on the weeds are visible. In approximately 1 week the weeds are gone. I recommend Weed & Feed to all of my neighbors and friends.

I followed the instructions carefully but ended up with a discolored lawn. No weeds, but... the label said temporary discoloration. However, this was not temporary. I will not use this product again. Now working to find a product to restore a solid green color back to my lawn.
