I bought it to get rid of the weeds before overseeding. It didn't kill all the weeds and I have to care of the rest with vinegar, dish washer combo. I was happy with the result because there was no burned grass until see the label say wait a month before seeding. It was quite disappointing to wait a whole month. So read the label before buying it. Update: By the end of 3rd week after the application, weeds start to come back with new more powerful. I don't know the type of the weed but this one regrow even more. Welcome back to square one...waste of money

I have used Scott's products since becoming a home owner over 30 years ago, most with good results. This past two years I have had very poor results, with weed growth far exceeding healthy grass growth. Crab grass and ground ivy has taken over my whole yard. It looks absolutely terrible. I will be ending my allegiance to Scotts, and moving on to a lawn care service that I can speak to and voice my concerns to if I see the same poor results.

The early spring application has already been applied and the weeds are starting to die off. The Bermuda grass is just starting to green up from the dormant winter season.

My whole yard gets different levels of sun throughout the day. We have used this weed/killer fertilizer and didnt kill the desired weed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the lawn is wet upon application and the weather cooperates fully, this product is excellent. The product must stick to wet plants to kill weeds. Rain can wash it off. With hot weather, stressed grass can be killed especially wherever you overlap this product. Application must be precise. Grass must be healthy and growing. New grass and seed is susceptible to failure. You must follow the instructions completely. Otherwise, Scotts weed and feed works pretty good to kill weeds and feed the lawn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Weed and Feed will not totally eliminate your weeds from view even after they've been deadened off. You must clear all weeds and dandelions from your lawn first. Then apply Weed and Feed to your lawn. By all means, water it! This will help the health of your lawn to over power weeds from returning. There may be some residual weeds that may appear after the rains, but by staying on top of your lawn, you may feed your lawn once in between storms to help your lawn's immunity to weeds. My lawn hasn't been touched aside from mowing in probably 10 years, maybe longer (I've only owned it for 2 of those years). I've finally gotten around to tending to my yard/weeds, and I have zero experience with fertilizers, eradicating weeds, or having a nice lawn in general. I followed the directions on the bag to a T, and had fantastic results. Dandelions have withered away. Clovers and stickers too. However, I am curious if Scott's has a product I can use to assist me in eradicating crab grass and dallisgrass? I've read I need something with quinclorac in it. I've found products by other manufacturers but I would like to remain loyal to Scott's considering the excellent weed and feed results. Also, how long should I wait to apply an herbicide/quinclorac to my lawn after applying Scott's Weed and Feed? Does the suggested 30 day's apply to this as well? Thanks Central Arkansas
